Hi Jay, I feel sorry that you had this experience. We have clearly mentioned on our menu what comes with default American cheese or regular cheese. Vegan cheese is option which need to be specified at the time of the order. If you look at our status on HappyCow, its mentioned as vegetarian and not vegan. Hope this helps and we see you again.
