Worth the Commute! - Edit
I've been wanting to try here for ages now but it's been hard to get to without a car for me, so the day Line 5 opened I hopped on and went directly to 13 SUNS and it didn't disappoint! The staff were so friendly and the food was amazing. My friend I brought is not vegan and had never had Ethiopian food and they were so lovely explaining the menu to him. He loved it. I love Ethiopian food so much and this was no exception! I will be travelling back here again!

Beautiful space, delicious food, super friendly staff. We had the injera sampler with mushroom tibs. Everything was wonderfully delicious and beautifully presented. Mint tea equally delicious.

I had heard about this newly opened restaurant from a local FB group and so had to try it as love Ethiopian food and only 10 minute drive.
Read moreI have to say when I walked in, I loved the beautiful yet simple decor and the smell of incense burning. Relaxing and intimate atmosphere.
My friend and I ordered a starter to share as well as a main to share. The Awaze mango flatbread was amazing! Beautiful presentation, delicious and creamy! Gobbled that up!
The mixed veggie platter had a bit of everything and again beautifully presented and freshly prepared. Great tasting! We ordered spicy tea to enjoy with the meal.
The restaurant also sells Ethiopian coffee and Canadian made oat milk by Oatbox.
Service was friendly and attentive. I can’t wait to go back as want to try the rasta pasta!
A must try but also support a youn g entrepreneur who is keen to make his incredible restaurant a success! You will not be disappointed!😋💚
