Fun concept with smaller dishes! - Edit

Lovely restaurant and fast service. We sat outside, a great area for people watching. We got lots of small sharing bowls…plenty of choice, everything we tried was delicious with some adventurous ingredient combinations.

Huge menu, a bit lazy kitchen - Edit
What a menu card, we had trouble choosing among all the options, impressive. The food looked good, but it was kind of the same sauce used for everything, so the end felling lacked diversity and therefor, a top experience. Nice staff, good selcetion if home made drinks

Located in one of Berlin's most interesting and alternative districts. It's worth getting off the U5 subway at the "Frankfurt Tor" station and seeing how fantastic and bohemian the area is. We queued to get into the restaurant, which was packed for a Sunday night. Service wasn't very good, probably because there were too many people in the place and the waitress wasn't friendly and was a bit impatient (the waiter at the end was nicer). They both spoke good English. We chose the "Yogi Bowl" and "Yin-Yang Bowl" dishes (22 and 23) and they were absolutely delicious. Great prices, not too expensive for the quantity and quality of the food. It was worth it!!!!!

Atendimento não foi muito bom, provavelmente porque tinha muita gente no local e a atendente não era simpática e um pouco impaciente (o atendente no final já foi mais simpático). Ambos falavam bem inglês. Escolhemos os pratos “Yogi Bowl” e “Yin-Yang Bowl” (22 e 23) e estavam absolutamente deliciosos. Preços ótimos, não eram muito caros pela quantidade e qualidade da comida. Valeu a pena!!!!!

I have been there the first time 2 years ago. I dreamed about the the crispy tofu sticks since then. Happy to go back every time. But I have to say everything was a bit sweet today. I would love to have more spice- less sugar. But I’m still so happy with the food there!!!!

Tasty Vietnamese tapas in a very nice setting - Edit
I prefer eating inside, even in hot summer weather, so this place was perfect. All of the tables outside were taken, but the space inside was calm and also beautifully decorated.
Read moreThe menu is extensive, so it was difficult for me choose what to eat, but in the end I decided on a portion of Shaolin Pockets (steamed green gyoza with an amazing mango sauce) and a portion of Dim Sum (fried dumplings). For dessert I had Kem Trung, which is a crème brulée with orange zest. The perfect end to a lovely dinner, as it was sweet but not too sweet and refreshing too.
The staff was really friendly and attentive. The tables are spaced out nicely which means you don't have to watch or hear your neighbour eat unless it gets really busy. For someone with misophonia, this is a blessing!
It took a bit of time to finally get the check, but the staff were really busy, and I was sitting in a nice corner just chilling, so that wasn't an issue to me at all.
Please note that they only accept cash payments, which is quite common in Berlin.

Read moreThe place was very crowded. Inside was too much talking and very loud. The akoestiek was not good at all. But outside was full already otherwise I would move. My ears really exploded.
I was not very hungry. So I ordered only 2 dishes. It was much more expensive than last year.
The eggplant with mushroom very tasty. With some rice. And the tofu with flakes I forgot the name. It was good but very filling.
The service was a bit slow but it was busy and the plate where my dish was on was dirty.
Not the best experience this time.
€6,5 for small dish so compared to the rest of Berlin is more pricey.

Die Buns waren super lecker und wirklich mal was anderes. Am besten fand ich unter anderem die Erdnuss-Spieße. Wenn man richtig Lust auf was „gemüsiges“ hat, dann sind die Udon-Nudeln das passende Abendessen. Gerne wieder!

They have a super wide range of different small dishes (almost a downside since everything sounds amazing and it’s so difficult to decide!) and super friendly staff. Their interior is very cozy with many options to sit outside.
Read moreMe and my girlfriend tried 5 dishes to share, we ended up bringing home almost half of it all in a take away bag. Because we got very full. But I am telling you. The food was excellent. Their curry was fantastic, might be the best I’ve ever had. We also had some tofu sticks with a spicy raspberry dip (how do you even think of that and why was it so delicious??)
We ordered some spring rolls and they were very nice, but to be honest not that different from the ones we have at home in Copenhagen. Which is a good thing.
Only downside is that we ordered a Lychee Mojito that was very bland in taste. Not recommended.
This is, so far, the best food I’ve tried in Berlin. Absolutely worth a visit.

i loved 1990. it was recommended to me by so many people and I’m happy we went. we shared 5 different tapas and it was mooooore than enough. so many interesting choices on the menu and all vegan! the staff was friendly and the space was fun! they had a dish with a raspberry dip (crazy!) and udon noodles, rice etc. as extras. their curry was amazing and I enjoyed everything. we had the litchi mojito which didn’t taste of that much sadly - but the litchi fruit that came with it was so good.

The restaurant has many tables both inside and outside and is tastefully furnished with a style that recalls their tradition.
The dishes, with their unique flavours, are varied and very good. This time we were thrilled!
The staff is friendly and the service is fast.
Average prices.
To conclude, however, I would like to make a critique: how is it possible that in 2024 you can only pay cash in a restaurant? At the end of lunch I had to go out to make a withdrawal at a nearby ATM, also paying a big commission for the withdrawal. Couldn't you just accept electronic payments like everyone else does?
