Great food and service - Edit
The place has a real nice atmosphere great food and the best service we got in Porto. The staff is really kind and made us feel really welcome. They offered us to try a new dish for free and even served it with great port wine. The shakshuka was brilliant and the kinder croissant was delicious . Highly recommend!

WOW - Edit
The dishes are made with a lot of love and dedication, and they are super friendly and attentive. They also gave me a starter while I waited for my food!!! And, for the quality and the generous portions, the price was incredible: a coffee with milk, two starters, a main course and a dessert were 19€ 😸

Amazing Croissants - Edit
Even though we tried a couple of the breakfast items on the menu, the croissants are the ones who made us visit this place almost every day during our stay in Porto. If you are looking for a nice pastry to go with your morning coffee, A Padoca won't dissapoint.

Good pastries but expensive - Edit
The croissants were good but did not justify the price. The Pastel de Nata was great. The drinks were also very expensive, and the tea was too strong. The sandwich was amazing though. #Veganuary

Amazing Breakfast - Edit
We were only in Porto for one day and after seeing some of the photos online it was a must visit foodie place. The vibes are immaculate, and you are greeted with a feast for your eyes (and later belly) by a wide selection of fresh chocolates, savoury baked, sweet pastries and little tarts. The smell is divine, a mixture of sweet custard, butter and coffee.
Read moreI opted for the Eggs Benedict, and how it was made to look and feel like a poached egg dumbfounded me. The flavour explosion of the “yolk” running over a wedge of freshly baked brioche and “bacon” took me back to a long time ago but was different enough to not be off-putting. The coffee was one of the best oat cappuccinos I have ever had (I usually order americano just because I’ve been disappointed so badly in the past). My wife opted for the French toast, which was lashings of fruit over a brioche wedge and a hot chocolate to go with it. Hot chocolate is poor description, this was more like perfectly melted liquid truffle - I have never (pre or post going vegan) tasted anything quite like.
The whole experience was incredible, and the fact that everything is vegan is just amazing after you see and taste the food.
Pros: Food - flavour and visual, Service, Atmosphere

Surprising vegan delights - Edit
Good range of dishes, including for example French toast, avocado on toast and many types of croissants. Beautiful wall mural. The only small complaint is that the coconut croissant I had, which was delicious, didn’t seem very fresh.

Nice place - Edit
We came here twice, once for lunch and other for breakfast. The salads we had were nice but breakie stuff wasn’t really for us. We did have Nutella croissant in the morning which was lovely but the day before we had one in the pm and was soft so think you need to have them early.
