I’m in love - Edit
The ripple cheeseburger, it is incredible. The taste of the burger after first bite made me scramble for the menu to triple check it was entirely vegan. Never have I had a burger that tasted so much like the real deal. I can’t rate this place enough, no cons at all! Yeah a little pricey but for a vegan in Tokyo, it’s what you expect.

Great food :-) - Edit
I think that the burgers here are great. The Mac and cheese too ugh! ❤️ I've gone here a few times. Not the cheapest option, but also not the most expensive one either. Super nice and the staff speaks English if you are worried about that. Most customers are westerners.

Absolutely incredible - Edit
Had two burgers. Had ice cream. They had run out of mac and cheese unfortunately. Might have to head back today to try it out

I was super excited that the menu had such variety and had versions of burgers and chicken. The cheesy fries really impressed me, they nailed the flavor and consistency. Can't wait to go back!

Not amazing - Edit
It was the only place open around the holidays, and the food was cheap and enjoyable, but it’s not incredible in terms of flavour. Maybe all the best items were the ones out of stock.. the service is nice and it’s great for grabbing some fast lunch on the go though.

Cozy spot. We had takeaway and sat on the cute bench seating outside. Our burgers, fries and cookies were all delightful. Big servings, filling. Excellent mock meat and cheese.

Amazing French toast - Edit
The Mac and cheese is super creamy and cheesey, the burrito was one of the tastiest I’ve ever had (with chicken style pieces) and the French toast was one of the best things I’ve ever eaten!

Super tasty beef-style burger, cheesy chips & corn soup. YUM! Even sold beer! - Edit
We went here for my birthday coz I fancied a burger. The place is quite small & intimate but that’s ok because you’re surrounded by lovely people. It reminded me a bit like a mini Soul Burger in Aus. We had a beef-style burger which had a super tasty patty, chips with a delicious cheese sauce on & corn soup which was a real treat. Finished up with a small but tasty tiramisu. It wasn’t the cheapest meal but we were very satisfied with it in terms of a junk-food hit! The guys serving were lovely.

It IS food - Edit
It is edible food, I'd eat it if there was nothing else. The taste is just something you can get sick of really fast. It's not even that great the first time. It's just that there's nothing else around

Perfection! - Edit
I couldn't have been more happy with my experience here! This is my first time in Japan (and ever traveling abroad) and I've been nervous about being in a foreign country as a steadfast vegan. This restaurant was close to our Airbnb. The menu had a lovely variety, the staff was incredibly sweet and welcoming and the food was absolutely delicious! I got the cheeseburger with cheese fries. Everything was perfectly melty and flavorful. I will definitely be frequenting this place while I'm here!

Read the reviews and they are true. Might be the best burger I have had. Mac n Cheese was good as well. Wanted to try the chicken burger as well but I'm stuffed 😅. Good stuff.

Good, but not amazing - Edit
My girlfriend and I were so excited to eat here, so much so we booked a hotel close by expecting to eat there multiple times. In the end we did try it twice, both times the food was good, but not amazing. Decent burgers and the burrito was quite good (better than GyG), also has a nice selection of desserts and sweets (although overpriced). As others have said, the venue is small and the menu is limited, also it doesn’t stay open very late, but definitely worth a try and more reasonably priced than it’s sister store; Journey.

Love the menu here as its more casual than the Ain Soph Journey in Shinjuku. You can also order burgers or sandwiches and combo them with a side.

Not ashamed to say i re-visited ripple over 3 times during my stay in Shinjuku 😂 The cheeseburger, chicken burger, salads, cookies and mac and cheese are all amazing! Such friendly staff aswell with good english. Ripple is small and usually busy but you can take away. Prices are middle range/affordable- Great to have a vegan place in the middle of the city!

Such a tasty burger and so filling. After eaten the burger I feel like I didn't need the fries because I was so full. Very cosy and chill place to eat, came quite early when they opened for lunch so wasn't crowded at all

Great plant-based burger joint - Edit
So nice to have so many vegan options in Tokyo these days! Ain Soph is a chain, but each location has a different menu. This location was very burger centric, fast-casual style.
Read moreEverything is vegan/plant-based (always appreciated) and the food quality seemed very high. The burgers my partner and I had, crispy chicken and falafel, were both well made with delicious sauces, trimmings. Also, we both remarked how the roll seemed extraordinarily fresh (almost like it had just been baked).
This location is definitely on the small side, and when we were there (a Friday night) it was very busy. Turnover is pretty quick, so seating frees up fast, but good idea to stake out a seat as soon as you can (or do a takeaway order).
I was a bit surprised at the price of the bill, about 4200 yen for two burgers made as sets (w/fries), a tea, and beer, but I suppose not too out of the norm for Tokyo. Plus, I don't mind paying a little extra to support an all vegan business.
Pros: High quality food, Super Friendly
Cons: A tad expensive

Tastes as good as it looks - Edit
In typical Japanese form, the burger looks exactly like the pictures. I had the ripple cheese burger. Messy eating but tastes good. I walked up from Shinjuku station, not too far. Easy for non-Japanese speakers.

Hearty cheese burger - Edit
I had the ripple cheese burger and mac and cheese with soup. The burger was big ! The soup was salty a little, but the burger and mac and cheese was delicious!! I recommend the Ain Soph. Ripple, if you walk around Kabukicho, Shinjuku. It takes about 7min JR shin-ookubo station.

Great burgers! - Edit
We went there twice in two days, because we became Ain Soph fans... and also, easy to order! they have 3 types of burguers, a meaty one with avocado, a chicken one and a falafel one. You can also order the first one with cheese. We didn't try the chicken one but the other two were great. The cheesy fries are big, and also the mac and cheese is a good portion for a side dish, and has a lot of flavour. Would have been perfect that they had the ham burger that they offer in their Kyoto restaurant. It's a really great option if you are around Shinjuku, for sure.
Read moreThe ambience is less pretty and less clean than the other Ain Soph that we visited, but still not bad.
Pros: Great flavours and textures, cheesy fries are big, easy to find and to get a table
Cons: Would be great if they closed a bit later
