Vegan Junk Food - Edit
This was delicious! Between the three of us we had two chicken burgers and a ripple cheese burger with fries and macaroni cheese and everything was amazing. It is quite expensive so I probably won't be going back this trip, but well worth a visit!

Amazing food, although tourists are the main target. Everything is written in English and the woman at the counter is American. I had a burger and fries for more or less 1300 yens.

Great vegan fast food - Edit
I have been here a couple of times, and I fell in love with their burgers and corn soup. Both are delicious and easy to digest. Their tiramisù is also to die for, especially the matcha version.

Read the Vegan Tokyo Guide on https://itravelforveganfood.com/vegan-tokyo-guide/
Read moreChick’un burger? Check. Mac and cheese? Check. Other vegan fast food? Check.
If you have done any kind of research of what to eat in Tokyo for a vegan, you probably have heard of Ripple. It’s by the same company that runs the Ain Soph chain of restaurants.
Out of the 4 burgers they offer, our favorite is the crispy chick’un burger. The texture of the chick’un is amazing. Chewy and nicely seasoned. Together with the vegan tartar sauce and shredded red cabbage, it’s a burger that everyone will love. The cheese Ripple burger is also good, but it would be better if the patty is less soft.
The menu is has other comfort food like mac and cheese, burrito, and desserts.
The place is not very big with just a big table in the middle and some table seats. Based on the few times of visits, it seems to be always full and most of them are tourists.
Pros: All vegan, Delicious burgers, Friendly staff

Amazing - Edit
The vegan burger and cheesy fries were so lovely, one of the nicest vegan places I’ve ever visited. The burger had a meaty/authentic taste. The servers were very friendly and the service was quick

Vegan burger and mac - Edit
I had a burger, some mac n cheese, and a waffle with ice cream. It was decent and filled me up! A little pricey. My non vegan family enjoyed it too.

I had the crispy soy chicken burger and the side macaroni and cheese. I got it to take back to my Airbnb and it was delicious. A great little shop.

So overpriced + dry patties - Edit
It was good but not amazing. The patty was also a bit dry. The portion was filling enough for me but 1350 ¥ for this cheeseburger is way too much. However, there were other cheaper dishes on their menu. I did not use the non-reusable plastic cutlery.

Cons: Expensive, Plastic cups (like in the kindergarden), Limited space with a tiny toilet

Small little spot in the middle of Shinjuku. Burgers, burritos, vegan Mac n Cheese, chili cheese fries, etc. not particularly healthy, but yummy. French toast was amazing.

Tasty burgers and tiramisu - Edit
Came here twice having the chicken burgers and chips. Had the tiramisu and biscuits to take away which were great as struggled to find vegan snacks in Tokyo.

Incredible - Edit
I had the cheeseburger with a small portion of fries and a house made lemonade to go. I took them back to my hotel room (jetlag) and despite them being cold by this point, I think the burger was possibly the best I’ve had. It was so satisfying and had just enough ‘meaty’ texture to please even a committed carnivore. The lemonade too was nice and sharp but sweet. I really loved this place and will be back at least once or twice in the next week!

Not bad - Edit
I had the cheeseburger with fries cheese sauce side. Very tiny portion of fries and not a huge fan of this cheese sauce unfortunately, the burger was underwhelming too after all the hype I’d read. Maybe I was just sour since I was in a bit of a rush and the food took a really long time. But can’t fault it for Tokyo, it’s good!

Great fast food in Kabukicho - Edit
Ain Soph Ripple is a great, cute fast food place in Kabukicho. It's in between Shinjuku station and Shin Okubo Station (Yamanote Line) but I often walk ~7 minutes from Okubo Station (Chuo Sobu Line) and it's fine.
Read moreI often get the cheese burger and fries set. My omni boyfriend usually gets a burrito and mac n cheese. I save money this way by dipping my fries in the left over mac n cheese sauce 😉 the mac reminds me a bit of Kraft from the states.
We tried the French toast once and it was really good! The portion was bigger than I expected.
The only issue I have with Ain Soph is that they only offer single-user plastic cutlery, as well as paper cups for certain dishes and wax paper to hold the burgers in. I understand that it's easier for them but it's really bad for the environment. I hope they at least invest in metal, reusable cutlery!
Pros: FOOD!! DELICIOUS!!
Cons: Plastic Utensils, Single-use cups for mac-n-cheese

Can't fault it - Edit
There isn't much I can say that hasn't been said already. The burgers here are amazing. I had the ripple cheeseburger and all the little extra things that a regular cheeseburger wouldn't have really made it worth the price.
Read moreThe cheesey fries were nice, but I wouldn't call it a cheese sauce, more just melted cheese on top of fries.
Overall I did find it little on the expensive side, but I also find that to be quite common in Tokyo so still five stars from me.
Service was friendly and good English too if you don't speak Japanese.

THE CRISPY CHICKEN BURGER - Edit
I swear, it will be appearing in my dreams until i go back to Tokyo. The cheese burger was also very nice.

After a year I visited again and i was so sad because every time i came, the crispy chicken was sold out, no matter if it was lunch time or dinner time. Let’s just say, I’m extremely unlucky. However i gotta say that I’m not a big fan of the cheese burger anymore. It tasted bit bland. Still, this remains one of my fav places in Tokyo. Try the matcha tiramisu. It’s heavenly.
Pros: Amazing junk food

Amazing all vegan burgers/burritos in Tokyo! - Edit
Lovely place. Everything on the menu is entirely plant based. Has a few burger options, burritos and salad bowls along with a ton of dessert options. Everything is also available to take away. I was also delighted to discover they sell Brewdog Punk IPA which just happens to be my favourite beer! Burger plus lathe fries and a beer for two cost us ¥54,000 (£39/$55) so it's very reasonable for the portion sizes! There's also a focus on reducing single use plastics which is a great thing to see in Japan!!! Definitely worth making a special trip for if you're not already in Shinjuku. I'm coming back again for dinner tonight!
