Best hummus - Edit
Best hummus I've eaten in a while, and the pita was warm and fluffy. Very fresh food, and quick.

Loved the variety of platters here. Great options. Could use a spicy condiment, but otherwise great stop.

Nice staff and great falafel - Edit
The falafel recipe is the green falafel used in Palestine (I hope I got that right!). It's really really good, and paired with good sauces and quality vegetables, the plates and sandwiches here are really nice. The two men working there were always so nice. It's a bit uncosy inside to sit in, but I think most of their business is people taking food to go for Mauerpark.
Read moreMy only issue is the price considering how much similar food costs in Berlin and that the portions are relatively small. The quality however is very high and it's nice to know that the food is not made in the same cooker as cheese or meat as in many other falafel places.
Pros: Staff, Falafel!
Cons: Price, Portion size

Soulfood - Edit
Soooo goood! Creamy hummus, tasty smokey babaganoush, with fresh herbs and pomegranate. One Sabadi is filling you up for the day or great to share. Will try the moussaka next time. We had the get2 card, so price for 2 was okay. Have take away sandwiches as well.

Cons: Sabadis a bit pricey compared to sandwiches?

Read moreMy review:
My husband and I have eaten here a few times and are in love! I am a self-proclaimed hummus snob and can't eat a falafel unless it's absolutely fresh (veggies, bread, falafel balls and all!). This place is a godsend for someone who had her pick of authentic falafel of every style ranging from Moroccan to Israeli back in NYC. It's been miserable for me moving to Berlin and having to painstakingly seek out real falafel and having to travel just to get to it. This place is my new haven and I highly recommend it! The food is painstakingly fresh, homemade and intensely flavourful! On my last visit I had a very inexpensive feast of falafel, hummus and an amazing chickpea stew. Enough seating for about 8 people inside and more outside in warm weather, they do optimise their space. If I could give it more stars I would.

Quality palestinian vegetarian food - Edit
I visited Alin Gaza Kitchen for lunch, as I live in the same district.
Read moreThey offer sandwiches (falafel, maqali, hallumi), mixed plates and bowls of hummus. Compared to most middle eastern fast food places in Berlin, their food is definitely above average, as everything is homemade, they don't precook their veggies and everything looks fresh and clean.
I tried a maqali sand and a hummus bowl, which was especially tasty. Quite cheap, considering the quality.
Most of their food is vegan, except for halloumi and ayran (yogurt drink).
The place is small.
I really appreciate their being proud of serving authentic Palestinian food.
Pros: Homemade food, Low prices
Cons: Only few seats inside.
