This is one of my all time favorite places to eat. The best combination of healthy and tasty ever! No processed ingredients, absolute perfection. And the owner is so saintly. Every vegan should check this place out 👍🏼

Fresh, delicious raw foods - Edit
Tried this place for the first time and loved it. I got a platter where you can choose up to five different things (perfect for ppl like me who want to try everything). I had 3 raw options and one cooked - my friend got the jackfruit burger and squash soup (cooked I believe). Everything was great. I especially loved the raw options. Our server was very sweet and the owner had great energy and made sure we were comfortable. The place has a casual and welcoming atmosphere - I’m sure I’d find myself there often if I lived closer.

We had a great lunch - Edit
We loved the creative burger/pita sandwiches. Walked through the door and an amazing scent of ginger and lime, so we asked about it. The homeade ginger lime drink was over the moon amazing! Will go back soon and order dinner and dessert. Loved this place!

Great raw food place. Sometimes live foods get a bad rep for being too health-foodsish, but this place strikes a perfect balance between meals that taste good and make you feel good. The staff is awesome too!

Closed for 3 week vacation, not mentioned on website. - Edit
Spent 20 minutes on a Saturday afternoon driving to this place in a sketchy neighborhood. Obviously the proprietor does not value her customers enough to let us know that she's CLOSED FOR THREE WEEKS!!! I checked the website before going, and again after being disappointed. It would have been so easy to put a notice on the website and show a bit of respect.
Read moreI wonder how many others wasted time because this place does not care about customers.
Pros: None known
Cons: Does not care about customers., Closed for 3 weeks but no mention on website.

I’m sorry you had this experience but I object to your characterization of the neighborhood as “sketchy”. Germantown is a historic neighborhood with many wonderful community events and small businesses!

It’s not a sketchy neighborhood, and I find your characterization concerning. You were driving; it’s not the end of the world. Restaurant owners are allowed to take vacations!

Ok, so the folks that seemed to be living on the streets led me to mistakenly characterize the neighborhood is sketchy. Perhaps they weren't vagrants, they were just outside enjoying the air. I've been wrong before.
Read moreUndoubtedly, restaurant owners are entitled to vacations. However, when they do that if they are considerate of their customers, they will let their customers know. If they have websites, they should update the website with a vacation notice. I'm not complaining that these people took a vacation, I'm complaining that they didn't take the appropriate steps to let customers know.

All the way live café has some tasty food. It’s a bit on the pricey side but it’s good and provides a lot of variety in color, texture, taste, and nutrients.

Salt, Salt, Salt! - Edit
I’m pretty sure that this was the saltiest restaurant I’ve ever been to, literally in my entire life. I would have really enjoyed it otherwise, and probably given it 5 stars as the dishes were creative and fresh. But even half of the amount of salt that they used would have been too much. It made the food inedible on its own. Even my husband, who regularly enjoys pizza (vegan) from mainstream pizza places that use vegan cheese (which tend to use tons of salt) found the food unpleasant to eat, due to the salt.

Best vegan food experience! - Edit
This was one of the first restaurants after starting my journey. I had many vegetarian and vegan meals before then, but this was an amazing way to start my journey. The restaurant has a beautiful motif, and everyone there was wonderful. A group of my friends all met up there, and Sister Beverly came and spoke to us about healthy eating, her journey, and meeting Dr. Sebi. She was so nice to answer all of our questions. I ordered the nut burger and ginger lime juice, and they were delicious. Honestly, I was intrigued by what a raw vegan burger would be like, and I was pleasantly surprised. I have gone to many vegan establishments since then, but this one make you feel like you’re home.

I ordered the lasagna with a side of marinated cabbage. It was fresh and delicious. I ordered for pickup but the Chestnut Hill location looks like a nice location with outdoor seating.

Awesome Raw Vegan Food - Edit
Although I used Uber Eats to deliver my food from All The Way Live, I cant really speak about the restaurant overall. I had the vegan raw lasagna which was excellent. They used nut cheese between plenty of veggies and thin slices of zucchini. I will definitely order again. The prices are reasonable for the quality and quantity of food.

The food is amazing and the staff is so wonderful that we went 2 days in a row! This food tastes great and makes you feel good too. No greasiness or heaviness and no sacrificing flavor or nutrients. I’ve been vegan 10 years-this is the only place I’ve been where I can’t do it better myself. I’m in awe.

Great Raw Living Food!! - Edit
I always make the effort to come here when I'm in town. Their raw food menu is filled with great delicious food! Some may be put off by the prices but you get good quality raw living food in good portion sizes. I was able to talk the owner and her story about how she got into raw foods back in the 1960s/1970s was inspirational for me.

Finally had a chance to eat there and I was not disappointed! I kinda wish the servings were a bit larger but that may be because my children were eating off my platter too... Lol the atmosphere is lovely. I wasn't expecting to see original woodwork in - Edit

Absolutely Amazing - Edit
I have transitioned to Vegan two months ago. My husband has not fully transitioned so I decided to try out this restaurant after reading the wonderful reviews. My husband didn’t know. We walked in and he was like “Wow, it smells yummy in here. We sat down and began to look at the menu and looks at me and said, no meat?” I laughed, I said honey check out there menu and choose there are many choices and give it a try. My husband ate the food choice he made so fast and I was like what happened, LOL. He said, OMG this food is delicious and I totally agreed with him. The food tasted Amazingly good and we are both looking forward to coming back again soon. Oh, the deserts are so tasty and we loved the ginger, and lime drink, as well.

Delicious Raw Vegan Fare in Philly! - Edit
I am a raw vegan so I seek out raw restaurants everywhere I go. I found this gem about a year ago. The food is wonderful. I really enjoyed the walnut burgers wrapped in Nori. There is raw food and some cooked vegan food. We also had a lovely chat with the owner, a longtime raw vegan. We like to stop in whenever we are in Philly.

Good food, gluten-free and friendly ambience - Edit
We ended up here because our first choice was closed. Glad we did.
Read moreMost dishes are raw, but there are some cooked choices. Everything is gluten-free.
The chili and subgy soups were excellent as well as the Sea Green Salad and Forbidden Black Rice with Kale. The Mock Tuna was really different with a coconut flavor.
The menu has bowls of food served in scoops on a bed of lettuce or sandwiches or salads. All desserts are raw.
Simple, yet yummy dishes.
The service is slow, but that is the feeling of the entire place. This is a neighborhood place where everyone is laid back and enjoying the food.
Good for a family, date or solo meal.
Bus stop right outside the door. We thought the neighborhood might seem dicey to some people, but it is safe and a lot of nice folks. Metered parking during the week, not on Sundays.
Will definitely be back.
Pros: Food, Owner, Ambience
Cons: Outside of main Philly, Slow service
