Vegan cachopo and tortos - Edit
If you want to try some vegan Asturian food or have to dinner with omnis, then this is your place. They offer vegan tortos (corn cakes) with vegan picadillo (soy meat) and vegan cachopo with vegan cheese. The cheese is not labelled as vegan specifically but it definitively is a vegan cheese. The cachopo was a bit dry, but nevertheless this is a great option to go.

Probé uno de los cachopos veganos y, no sé si me lo dieron en mal estado o qué, pero era absolutamente incomestible: durísimo (casi no podía ni cortarlo con el cuchillo, haciendo muchísima fuerza), y de sabor nefasto. Por si fuera poco, valía 26 euros. No recomendaría a nadie pedirlo.

Vegetarian options on menu not available - Edit
Th waitress was confused then we wanted to order the vegetarian Cachupo on the menu like no-one else ever ordered it and told us that they dont have it. Then we wanted to to order the other vegetarian options (2 different tortas de maiz), but she said they are with meat. So we ordered two of the regular tortas de maiz just without meat. They were nice, but we came to try the vegetarian Cachupo, so we were a bit disappointed.

The vegan cachopos were huge, but too salty - Edit
An interesting place with Asturian cuisine and excellent cider (which they pour for you according to the rules). The vegan menu is indicated in a separate section. We ordered two cachopos, one with vegan ham, the second with vegan bacon and red pepper. But in fact, both have the same vegan bacon. It's just that one cachopo has pepper, and the other does not.
Read moreTo be honest, one portion would be enough for two people. But we didn't know that. It's simply unrealistic for one person to eat one portion, it's so huge! The idea with vegan cachopos is really interesting. However, the cachopos were very, very salty there. Even delicious cider didn't help. This was also the reason why we couldn't finish everything.
It was quite noisy there. However, if you do not stay too long, then it is fine. But, most likely, someone may like the sound-filled atmosphere, it's a matter of taste, of course.
Nevertheless, I recommend this place to visit to immerse yourself in the atmosphere of Asturias.
Pros: huge portions, perfect cider
Cons: too salty cachopos, few vegan dishes
