Stopped by before heading out to Altestadt to walk around. Had an Egg Drop sandwich. Simply excellent - and I am still amazed the “eggs” weren’t real. Flavor was spot-on. Patisserie looks amazing.

We enjoyed two great dishes - Avocado smash and the „shakshuka“, which is quite a stretch to name it shakshuka, but it was super tasty. Service was a bit slow, but friendly and welcoming. Definitely recommend.

Loved our brunch here! I got a hazelnut latte, a leberkäse + fried egg brioche open-faced sandwich (unique and delicious!), and also shared a carrot cake. Everything was delicious. The carrot cake had a nice nutty flavor and the cream was sooo light and good.

Amazing Breakfast place - overpriced - Edit
I have been to quiet a lot breakfast places and Alua is for sure in my top 3. The service is quick and friendly, the food amazing. I highly recommend the Egg Drop Sandwich (just WOW). Overall a great experience but only 4 stars because the food is overpriced.

Not only is this place perfect for coffee and brunch, but you don't have to be afraid to plan a lunch there. Sweet or salty, the portions are really gracious. Prices are a measure of quality. With no outdoor possibility, be sure to make a reservation in prime time.

Its a nice little breakfast restaurant. There are many different options. All we tried was very delicious and looked great. The service was good too. The prices are a little bit expensive.

We went there to have breakfast, so we had the only two sweet options they had (besides the cakes): Pancakes & French Toast. Both were really delicious and freshly made.

Wir waren zwei Tage in Folge im Alua, das sagt wahrscheinlich schon alles😄Die Brote sind meega und ich habe noch nie ein besseres Schokocroissant gegessen😍 Man sollte unbedingt reservieren. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen!

We bin here twice during our citytrip. Our main courses were out of this world, probably the best we had in Dresden.

Unfortunately the pastry didn't quite matched the same level. Everything looks just beautiful but the taste was quite average in my opinion. But taking this in account it was still a solid 5 star experience.

I never ate a vegan chocolat croissant which was soooo delicious! Really buttery, not dry at all, a delicious chocolate creme. Also the cappuccino was great, as well as the New York Rolls. Unfortunately the Rolls were quickly sold out and they only have one flavour option (I think they alter it every week or every month)

Nice cafe - lovely "egg" breakfast sandwich - Edit
I popped in on a Sunday morning for Breakfast whilst in Dresden - really nice little place and very close to the historic parts of Dresden (Zwinger etc). Food very tasty, quick service, and they were absolutely fine with English (my German is GCSE level from 20+ years ago and I haven't had the chance to brush the rust off for this trip). I'm a bit of a coffee snob and I enjoyed the cortado. I'll probably go back at least once this week.

Bei unserem Kurztrip in Dresden haben wir möglichst viele vegane Restaurants angesteuert und im Alua unsere Top Empfehlung gefunden: Einfach lecker und gesund (vielfältig) dazu, absolute Wohlfühlumgebung durch die Ausstattung und das freundliche Personal. Außerdem ist es nur wenige Gehminuten von der Altstadt entfernt. Auch haben wir selten eine so diverse Kaffeekarte gesehen. Leider konnten wir uns nicht durch alle Durchkosten, daher müssen wir wohl noch einmal wiederkommen!

Boho Café mit einer tollen Auswahl an veganen Speisen und Getränken - Edit
In diesem Café kann man sich einfach nur wohlfühlen. Das Alua hat eine wunderschöne Boho-Inneneinrichtung und super nettes Personal. Die Speisen sind mit viel Liebe angerichtet, sehen aus wie Kleine Kunstwerke und schmecken zudem noch einfach köstlich.
