Excellent Healthy Food! - Edit
Huge menu mostly vegan and breakfast all day. Deli case of so many desserts and to go cookies and many others. Really delicious flavors and options. I was just passing through town and glad I made the detour. Had the tofu scramble and a piece of pumpkin cheesecake.

Good breakfast! - Edit
Had the oat masala chai, dosaritto with Christmas sauce and vegan feta, plus a single cardamom pancake. The chai was tasty, and the dosaritto was very delicious. Huge portion! Vegan feta was also way better than most options I’ve tried. However, I’d skip the pancake - it was dry and crumbly, not what you want from a pancake.

Wholesome, flavorful vegetarian/vegan food - Edit
We had a Thaali with three veggie dishes of the day and a vegan Stuffed Poblano. Each of the dishes were flavorful and innovative. A big bonus is that the dishes were not heavy with oil/cream. Chappati was excellent—soft without greasiness.

Amazing array of vegan items - Edit
Our goto restaurant for vegan meals and deserts. I used to think their Ayurvedic cuisine was bland but they also have dishes with red and green chile.

Had high hopes but... - Edit
Friends who have visited plus reviews on all platforms had me looking forward to trying but maybe the chef was having a terrible day.Idk how you even go wrong on the simple things. Pancakes 🥞, BLT, fries,& 🧁. The Pancakes were burnt 🧁 were so dry& had to be a few days old. Couldn't even finish the 2 we ordered. Bacon on the blt was really good but thats it. Had to go next door afterwards to eat 😫

You won’t be disappointed! - Edit
Great restaurant, easy parking. Delicious options. The staff was very helpful as we were first time guests. We will be back. Don’t miss the dessert case. I appreciated they let you know what type of sweetener is in the different desserts. The pecan pie sweetened with monk fruit was amazing. This will be our go to restaurant in Santa Fe.

Delish options + good portions - Edit
Loved all the tasty options! The menu is huge and easy to navigate. I got the BLT with masala fries . Sandwich was very tasty and the fries were INCREDIBLE. Perfectly seasoned and the right balance of crispy and juicy fries. My partner got a veggie bowl and was not disappointed. Also we got some of their cardamom cookies for later. So tasty as long as you like more subtle “sophisticated “ flavors and not crazy sweet things . That’s my jam!

Tasty, usually, but disappoints at times - Edit
Annapurna was there when I was living in Taos and made my way to Santa Fe for the day. The cauliflower tacos were tasty and filling--most of the time. I found the food to be inconsistent--usually satisfying but occasionally disappointing--especially desserts, which could be hit or miss. This left me ordering the same thing mostly to avoid being let down.

Veg with mostly Vegan options - Edit
Easy to order clearly labeled vegan dishes or option to make menu items vegan. I love the dosha labels as well. Some reviews mention authenticity of the Indian dishes but I'd like to note these are ayurvedic medicinal recipes so may be different than other Indian restaurants. Taste and flavor was amazing.

The stir fry was great! Dal was more liquidy than expected, but very good on the quinoa. The masala brussel sprouts were nice, very good blend of spices. Nice flavours.

Solid Veggie Burger - Edit
I very much enjoyed the veggie burger on a gluten free bun accompanied by a side order of masala fries. Two young guys at the register didn’t look too cheery but I was in my mid-twenties once so I understand completely.

Nourishing Food! - Edit
We loved dinner so much, we came back for breakfast. Annapurna is a nourishing, auervedic oasis, that welcomed us with yummy, sustaining meals on our road trip. We recommend the: Veg and Tofu Stirfry Bowl, South Indian Dinner, Samosa, Chai Cupcake, Vegan Chai, Scone, Tofu Scramble, Chai Pancakes, and Vegan Latte, and all the vegan goodies at the counter.

Very good food, but know what to expect. - Edit
Annapurna's is a lovely restaurant, but anyone going there should understand what it is like. The restaurant's philosophy treats food as spiritual as well as physical nourishment. As a result, some items may be different from what you expect. Pizza (not vegan) is made on chapati or dosa and topped with cheddar cheese. Sandwiches are wrapped in a chapati or dosa.
Read moreThe food tastes great. Staff is pleasant. While it is in a strip mall, the inside is open and airy. The entire menu is vegetarian, most is vegan, and almost everything can be made gluten free.
The masala fries that came with their variation on the BLT was the highlight, but everything was good.

Awesome selection! - Edit
Wonderful, primarily vegan restaurant! I loved the cardamom pancakes for breakfast and the breakfast scramble was tasty, too. I also enjoyed the South Indian Sampler— I actually had two meals from it! The samosa was perfect. I did try the coconut and the pecan pies. They were tasty but quite different from the kind I remember from childhood. The cardamom cookies were the best!

Go-to happy place for this vegan traveler - Edit
During my 5-day visit to Santa Fe, I was ecstatic to find this unique restaurant with such an extensive vegan / vegetarian menu. I had four meals there, from breakfast to lunch and dinner, and was only disappointed by one cup of soup (the broccoli-almond soup), otherwise loved the Indian dishes, dosas, samosas, tofu scramble, oat-milk chai and more. Loved the vibe and the people. Looked up the Hindu goddess Annapurna too and felt extremely happy to be an atheist contemplating the possibility of being nourished by this deity in the form of such good, delicious food. Highly recommended. If I lived in Santa Fe, I would be a regular!!

Decent Place To Eat - Edit
We had really high hopes for this restaurant with its extensive menu and gluten-free and plant-based options. Our meal was ok but not wonderful. Staff members were friendly enough but not particularly attentive when we first came in and didn't know that we had to order at the counter. The kitchari was truly delicious but the rest of our meal was just ok.
Read moreSince we rarely order fries, we were excited to try their homemade fries. We were disappointed that they were soggy. Additionally, the dining room had an air of neglect with poorly attended plants throughout.
This restaurant is ok and will definitely provide a decent meal out if you are looking for plant-based food. We would just not make this a regular stop if we lived in town.

Yummy vegan food - Edit
Had Poori-bhaji and some desserts (Apple cranberry pie, coconut pie and scones) -All of them yummy - the scones were a bit on the dry side but tasty and goes along very well with a cup of tea/coffee. Would definitely go again if in the same area
