All Ostensively Charming - Edit
Suave, swanky and swish, this was no run-of-the-mill venue, so the cuisine had a lot to live up.
Read moreBeautifully presented, I wasted no time in digging into the wide array of salads and breads on offer, the highlight definitely being the wakame and olive rolls, respectively. As for the main elements, the daal was well balanced in terms of spice and flavour, although my dish of the day most assuredly went to the vegetable pilau. Finally, on desert, I was overjoyed to see an actual option, other than just fresh fruit. Said sweet was the ghraybeh, a small, Emirati biscuit which, thankfully, was a delicious little morsel that rounded things off very nicely.
All in all, I would definitely say that the food managed to match its surroundings as the freshness and quality were evident throughout all the dishes that I had, though I still was left with feeling that there could have been one or two more items that would have elevated the experience from great to extraordinary. I wouldn’t say it would be top of my list in terms of destinations, but I would have zero qualms about returning here.
