Excellent vegan options - Edit
I've been eating here for almost nine years. I've taken many non-vegan friends here too and they've all loved the veggie combo. The inguday tibs (mushroom) and shiro are also amazing. Lovely little family-run restaurant with live music some nights.

Would give five stars if I could - Edit
My favourite place for Ethiopian food. You can choose the dishes for the veggie combo: my favourites are the misir wot (spicy lentils) and kik alicha (yellow split peas). The portions are big and they are very friendly.

Why eat meat when you can eat veggies? - Edit
I went here with a non veg friend and he was regretting ordering meat after he tried my vegetarian combo. The lentils, yellow spilt peas, and injera were all super yum. The restaurant had some nice art, too.

We’ve been here dozens of times over the years and it’s our favourite place for Ethiopian food. The vegan options can’t be beat and you’ll always leave with a fully belly. Staff is incredibly sweet

Vegetable combo - Edit
Last visit was on a night with live music. Service time was reasonable given the restaurant wasn’t too busy. The vegetable combo is always great, especially the split pea dish.

Fun experience - Edit
Tried this place last night for the first time. As other reviews stated, yes the service is slow. We waited about 40 mins to place our order and get drinks. But it was busy earlier and there was only one server so I understand and it was not her fault. Would be helpful if another server were working. Ordered the veg combo and tried all 5 options. The cabbage one had lots of cardamom in it and was everyone’s least favourite. The split pea was very yummy. It was good, I wasn’t really blown away by anything though. I’d give it a 3.5 Overall, it was a fun experience and I’m glad I tried it :)

Delicious! - Edit
This place is worth checking out. I had never tried Ethiopian food before and I would recommend this place to anyone. The service is a little slow but it is worth the wait. I always order the veggie plate and the mushroom dish. It is a lot of food so it's nice to have leftovers. The flavours are perfect.

simply amazing - Edit
This place is amazing. My wife and I get the veggie combo and the mushroom dish. It us a family run restaurant so when they are busy, it will take some time to get your food but it is always fresh and full of flavour.

Consistently Good and Dependable - Edit
We eat here weekly, if not bi-weekly and we have never been disappointed. The owner is super friendly and her daughter, who is often the server, is also very nice. We order the veggie platter with the mushrooms and it is delicious! The flavors are actually addictive. The injera bread also happens to be the best in town.
