Great choice and flavours - Edit
This bakery is really amazing and I would give 6 stars if I could. The staff are super friendly and they serve tons of traditional Swedish vegan cakes and pastries. I can't even begin to describe the amazing crunch of the flaky pastry items like the croissants. Pure vegan bakery heaven!
Read moreThe 'dammsugare' are out of this world and the best way I can describe it is as a chocolate brownie covered in marzipan. YUMM!!
On our most recent visit during Eurovision, they had slices of Princesstorta, which were utterly delicious. I'd recommend them to anyone as they are very hard to come by. They also do a whole Princesstorta but it has to be ordered a week in advance.

Pastries fit for a princess - Edit
We had picked up a princess cake, pastries and croissants that we ate throughout the weekend. The croissants were out of this world. Flaky, crispy, perfectly buttery. I’ve tried basically every vegan croissant in Paris and these were better
Read moreAnd then the princess cake. Genuinely the best cake I’ve had, the cake layer was fluffy, pastry cream had flecks of real vanilla bean, raspberries were fresh rather than a sticky sweet jam and the overall cake was the perfect level of sweetness. I understand why it’s called princess cake because we definitely felt like princesses eating it
Pros: Everything

Best bakery, vegan or not! - Edit
This is by far the best bakery I’ve been to. I buy their sourdough on a weekly basis, and their focaccia is amazing. Their princess cakes are delightful too! I’m so glad they have slices of the cake so that I don’t have to wait for my birthday to have one 😊

Wonderfully good pastries - Edit
It's a shame that there are so few seats in the café. I recommend you to buy fika and take this home or to sit in one of Malmö's beautiful parks and enjoy these fantastic pastries.
Read moreThey also have new flavors of donuts that you can order every Friday. It's very popular so be sure to be quick if you want to try it. Unfortunately, I have never had the opportunity to pick up a Friday donut, but at some point it will become a reality
Pros: Delicous pastries, Friendly Staff, Some new pastries every week
Cons: Too small seating area

Best vegan bakery ever! ♥️ - Edit
I finally got to visit Leve last month and absolutely loved it! It’s in a central location in Malmö, set in a very cute and cozy spot.
Read moreI was able to try multiple things over a few days, the Pain au Chocolat, Cardamom Bun, Sesame Bread, and the Damm Sugare (or vacuum cleaner) — they were all so good! My favorite was probably the damm sugare, something I’d never tried before, but similar to a Swiss (or Italian?) cookie that I’ve tried before.
There is seating out in the front, perfect during nice weather, but also a seating area where you can also see the pastry kitchen magic happen!
The friendliest staff, the best pastries and of course, entirely vegan!
I wasn’t able to try the weekly donuts or the cakes, but I definitely will next time!
Pros: Best pastries, Amazing bread, Friendly staff/cozy interior

This is a must visit bakery! Everything I've tasted is amazing and my non-vegan friends and family can't tell a difference. The special thing with Leve is their Friday Donuts. It's a different one every Friday and the creativity has no limits. You can also pre-book your donuts. Kind staff but a small place and close to a driveway so I recommend buying your pastries to go.

Rein vegane Bäckerei - Edit
Es ist so toll, dass man hier nicht nach veganen Leckereien suchen und hoffen muss etwas zu finden, weil die Bäckerei rein vegan ist.

Not vegan - Edit
I had to try this place because it has so many good reviews and I was expecting it to be fully vegan.
Read moreThe pastries I got were extremely tasty, albeit a bit too greasy (buttery?!?!).
As we were leaving I saw that they sell honey in the shop, so they're clearly not vegan. This made me skeptical so I checked their website afterwards.
Neither in the shop nor on their website do they mention being fully vegan, it simply says they like to make "a lot of" plant-based products.
Unfortunately, I didn't have time to ask if they're actually vegan as it was very busy.
Note: There's no bathroom!
Pros: Very tasty pastries
Cons: Apparently not vegan, No bathroom, Not nice for sitting
