Great Food, Great View - Edit
Easily my most expensive meal in Thailand, but absolutely worth it.
Read moreBangkok Heightz is on the 39th Floor of the Continent hotel and a table can be booked through their website. Thus is recommended, even with the 500TB per person deposit, which is required if you want a window seat, but it is knocked off your bill later. I booked for an early meal, starting at 5:30pm, so I got to watch the sunset over the city. Beautiful!
I'd wanted to try the Thai Style Spicy Mixed Nuts starter since I spotted it when I was browsing the menu back in the UK. It didn't disappoint in any way. A great combination of flavours and textures, which left my tongue tingling and ready to be cooled down by some "Norwegian Artesian Water"; which also tasted beautiful, when compared to the bottled water I'd been quaffing from the 7-ELEVEN for the past couple of weeks.
I followed this up with the Fried Rice Sweet Tamarind Sauce, served with tofu and bean sprouts, which was also delicious. And, all vegan friendly so far!
Then I wrapped things up with Grilled Sweet Potatoes; toasted balls of purple sweet potato, taro and sweet cassava, with coconut gelato.
It came in at around 1,250TB, which would have been very reasonable in the UK, but feels like a treat in Bangkok.
Lovely venue, great food, incredible view: a treat indeed!
Pros: Food, View , Friendliness

Fancy rooftop bar for fair price - Edit
We decided to go here since we wanted to have diner on a rooftop bar and of course eat vegan. The dishes are clearly labeled vegan. The staf is friendly and gave us a table at a Window as soon as one came free. The food is good, not the cheapest in bangkok but also bot the most expensive and for a rooftopbar actually quite affordable. Defintely worth a visit.

Good rooftop bar to dine with omni friends - Edit
There are a few options for vegans clearly marked on the menu. Prices are not as ridiculous as some other rooftop restaurants. Highly recommend to book a table as it is a small venue. We enjoyed the tofu masamman curry and tofu fried rolls. The flavours were good but more actual vegetables would have made it better. Presentation is excellent and every mock/cocktail is served in a unique way.
