Great locations and nice options - Edit
I had alla parmigiana (the aubergine main dish) and the portion was really big, it was flavourful and tasty. I had pana cotta for dessert, it has some nicely tart forest fruit on top and it was light, and delicious.

Vegan deliciousness in the heart of Split - Edit
There are a few vegan venues in Split. We opted for Barakokula, and we weren't disappointed. From the dark Crna Kraljica beer to the traditional Dalmatian stuffed pancakes (So' Parnik) and the 'French toast' we were treated to food that really tasted wonderful and was healthy too.

Not worth it - Edit
You could tell the sexy tofu was made with way too much cornstarch either in the sauce or coating it as it left a terrible aftertaste and mouth feel. Such a shame for a fully vegan restaurant. Also very high prices for the burger not to even come with fries as a side!

Decent food - Edit
The food was ok, but not blown away by it. Small plates flavoursome, but small portions. Extra for mayo. Ok for a city centre restaurant. However rec the “chicken” Caesar was by the far best.

Delicious, filling, large portions - Edit
The menu was creative and varied, including sophisticated tofu, sushi, and pasta dishes. All was delicious (albeit a little sweet potato heavy!) not all dishes have sufficient protein, but some do. Delicious! We enjoyed the homemade drinks (lemonade).

Now that’s a burger! - Edit
To start we had the So Parnik which was yummy. Then I had the Buns N Roses Burger and my husband the Buffalo Wings. The burger was kind of different (which made it interesting) big and really good. Our waiter Julio did an excellent job taking care of us.

Perfect for a quick bite - Edit
The So Parnik (a typical local dish) was absolutely amazing. Simple food, though much flavour and very comforting.
Read moreI wasn't overwhelmed by the faux-burrata dish and the cocktails though. The mayonaise was laughable. Meaning: very not mayonaise-like but more an herby sauce. But yeah, I'm Dutch so typically I drown my fries in that [censored] (hence: I know mayo very well).
Advice: bring a nice, warm sweater since there are few seats inside. The terrace has a "roof", so you're dry when it rains, but it has the outside temperature.

My buffulo mushroom were okay. You don’t really taste the mushrooms from all the breading, also didn’t really taste the buffalo sauce if there was any. My mum order the sushi which was great.

Best Meal In Split So Far - Edit
Lovely to find an all vegan restaurant in Split with friendly staff. Prices are a little bit high but you’re paying for the location and freshly made food. Has the pasta for main and it was so good I’ll be going back, wife had the burger which she said was also good. Similar to a few reviews below the desserts were only okay. Still highly recommend - get the pasta.
