Great resource in Tavira - Edit
Stopped in here twice so far during my stay in Tavira. It is a smaller shop but has a wide variety of items. There are organic and vegan grains, beans, pasta, condiments, tofu items, beauty products as well as a small selection of produce. I was hoping for some tempeh, but haven't found that anywhere in PT so far. Prices are slightly higher, but appropriate based on the quality of products and it being a small business. Will happily return if I need other items. Highly recommend.

Very much needed in Tavira! - Edit
Very happy to visit this healthfood store in Tavira. I should have gone there on arrival in town, rather than wasting time at Lidl (which is nowhere near as good for vegans in Portugal as it is in England). Small-ish shop but a wide range of products and some nice-looking fresh produce. They even sell gomasio and vegan pesto mix, plus lots of types of tofu. Chocolate, cookies, teas and coffees, pastas, grains, juices, frozen desserts, cosmetics and lots more. Well worth the walk a few blocks out of the town centre.

Read moreSeitan but I was absolutely delighted to find this store that sells everything I would buy at home - Taifun tofu, soya yoghurt, edemame pasta, tahini!! I visit here to stock up every time I come over! It's a lovely shop and you'll find everything you will need if you're vegan and want to cook at home!

Toch gevonden! - Edit
Tijdens onze vakantie bij Tavira vonden we met behulp van de app Happy Cow deze fijne winkel. De zaak ligt nogal achteraf maar gelukkig toch gevonden. Vriendelijk personeel en een ruim assortiment voedingsmiddelen voor vegans. De omweg zeker waard.
