Small chain fully plant based Japanese restaurant . I had mushrooms sushi, tuna sushi, and potstickers. I liked the mushroom but the other two were not that great. I am spoiled by Shizen in San Francisco so this doesn't match up to that. But it is lower cost than Shizen and more casual and you don't need reservations. Maybe other items might be better.

If this wasnt fully vegan, i’d give a lower rating. The shiitake truffle dumplings came glazed in a sweet ketchup like sauce - i couldnt taste anything but that. The spicy ”salmon” sushi didnt taste very fishy and had overpowering snack lemon slices. The service was friendly and there was a noisy vegan family next to me, which both delighted and annoyed me. Electric outlets everywhere😄

Read moreI love mushrooms, so I got the Mighty Mushroom roll. I also got the Five Spice Chicken Dumplings and the Uber Cheesecake to dine in. I got a Nutty Buddy wrap to go.
The mushroom roll has black rice and has the full mushroom flavor and umami taste that I enjoy. Very tasty. The dumplings are crowd pleaser and has fresh, clean flavors.
The cheesecake was the star! It was dense, but not too rich and was very flavorful. It's chocolate fudge with ginger crumble. Excellent!
