Tofu Yum 🍄🟫 - Edit
Don't know why everyone is so negative about the food. It was okay! My tofu wasn't soggy ;)

Disappointing and expensive - Edit
I think I'd been more happy with this place if I felt I'd got what was advertised. Overall, the meal was good. I liked the vegetables, and the food was plentiful. The tofu meal (I don't remember the name) was freshly cooked unlike most of the meat ones, which was nice, but probably just a result of it not being the most popular offering. Probably also a downside if you need it done quickly (they said it would take 7 minutes to cook, I didn't time it but that felt about right).
Read moreHowever, paying over 18 USD after tax for a meal that in the photo showed nice, crispy, deep fried tofu and getting a couple of soggy tofu cubes is not something I could consider great value. Tofu is cheap, it doesn't really make sense that they couldn't put more of it in there for this price.
They also gave me plastic non-reusable everything apart from the straw, which was paper. Even the utensils were individually wrapped, and they gave me a lid even though I didn't ask for takeaway. I get that it's an airport so many people will probably want to sit at their gate, but I wasn't the only one eating there, so clearly there was some demand for food that could be served with reusable utensils and plates instead.
Overall, the food was okay, just not worth the price or what's advertised.
Pros: Vegetables were tasty, Plenty of food
Cons: Expensive, Soggy tofu (unlike what was advertised), Water tasted bad

Good Enough - Edit
Not terrible. Good mix of veggies and mushrooms. Tofu was not fried 'crispy'. The meal was made to order. The tofu was just served a different way... lol

One star off for service. Kinda rough, but it is Chicago...

Hard pass - Edit
$13 for mushy tofu and flavorless veggies. Spare yourself and give one of the other restaurants a try.
