TERRIBLE AND UNPROFESSIONAL SERVICE
👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼Walked in on a Saturday at 2pm, restaurant closes at 3. Then was told by a snarky hostess that their kitchen was already closed. She didn’t even let us speak and just says thank you in an attitude and turn around and walked away. 0 stars for rude staff. TO BLACKBIRDS RESPONSE: There was no sign out front, and your hostess WAS rude, and if she reflects the way you responded to my review then I’m happy I did not give you my money. TREAT CUSTOMERS BETTER.

Closed despite listed hours
We were really looking forward to eating here, but unfortunately the restaurant was closed despite online listings (including their website and HappyCow) saying otherwise. A quick update of the opening hours would be greatly appreciated. Hopefully we get to try it next time!

We always update our hours on Instagram and Google, as those are our primary platforms for communicating with customers. Our website isn’t something we actively maintain for daily updates.
We’re a small, independent café, and sometimes we need to take a short break. Leaving a 2-star review because of a brief closure—especially when we’ve communicated it elsewhere—doesn’t really align with the supportive, community-oriented vibe we try to foster.
