So many options! - Edit
This place is small and has limited seating so I recommend getting a reservation, but if a table is available they will seat you right away without a reservation.
Read moreThey have French and English menus and they are very friendly to English speakers.
There is a gender neutral bathroom available for customers as well and it's great for washing your hands after taking the metro to get here.
The decor is really nice with all the hand painted bamboo, lotus, and cherry blossoms. It's charming and a nice place to sit and eat.
The menu had so many things to pick from I didn't know where to start. I also appreciate that everything had descriptions so I knew exactly what was in all the dishes. Some dishes I was familiar with and others I was not.
I love dumplings so I knew I was going to pick one of those as a starter, but even dumplings had a lot of different versions and styles. I went with the grilled ones. They are doughy and come with a delicious barbecue flavored sauce to dip them in. I really liked the texture, but they weren't delicate like the fried and steamed ones I get at home. It was pleasantly surprising and still delicious.
For my main dish I got the chicken hot pot. I don't think I have ever been anywhere with vegan hot pot options before so I needed to try it. I've been so curious what that would be like and it was very well flavored. It came with a side of rice. I chose sticky rice because I love that texture and I find it easier to pick up with chopsticks as well. I mixed the rice into the clay pot so I could soak up all of the flavor. I highly recommend this dish.
Lastly for dessert I got the Lotus Buns. They are soft and hot and filled with a delicious sugary lotus paste. I never can find anything vegan like this at home and was thrilled. I have a sweet tooth so that was my favorite thing I ate the entire night. I love the softness of the bun, the slight stickiness and texture is has is so comforting. The flavor of the sugar paste was exactly what I wanted. It isn't overly sweet either. And it isn't so large that I felt overstuffed.
The portions here are perfect! Not too small and I didn't walk away feeling like I was going to burst either. I definitely recommend giving them a try, especially if you like Asian (specifically Vietnamese) food.
Pros: Perfect portions, Delicious flavors and textures , Accepts cards

Good vegan Asian restaurant - Edit
As mentioned by many other reviewers, it is nice to have many asian dishes choices. Some dishes however were too sweet like the lok lac and another where the noodle were too cooked too. But some other dishes were really delicious. It is still a very good restaurant that i would go back to and recommend. Staffs are nice and friendly.

Friendly and quick - Edit
The staff were so lovely, and food came very fast. However, they didn't have quite a few things on the menu available. Food was alright but could have done with a bit more flavour.

How is this place not in HC's top 10? - Edit
How Aujourd'hui Demain was rated higher than Bodhi blows my mind. Bodhi is seriously some of the best Chinese/Asian food I've had in years at prices I paid decades ago. We ordered 3 dishes plus a starter thinking the serving sizes were going to be small given the dishes were prices at €10-12, but we were wrong! The serves are generous, they don't skimp on the vegan meats, and importantly, the food is so flavorful and not super oily like Chinese food can sometimes be. We ordered the minced soy dumplings, sweet and sour no pork, satay 'beef' clay pot, and pho soup. We loved each one of them.

Super nice service, but food was NOT good - Edit
Unfortunately, the food was underwhelming. The dishes were mostly meat-replacement plus rice, no vegetables in the dish apart from some decorative salad.
Read moreThe meat-replacements all had a weird consistency, either gummy-like or mushy. Since there was also very little else on the plate, this did not spark joy.
Sorry to say this after reading all the positive reviews, but I have eaten much, much better meat replacements, even plain tofu would have been more palatable.
Would not recommend, I think there are better options in Paris.
Pros: Service was really nice and welcoming , Affordable prices (~10€ for a main)
Cons: Non-tasty food, Atmosphere was ok, but not super cozy

My only regret is that I didn’t try this place earlier!!! - Edit
I had wanted to try Bodhi vegan for a while now but since it’s located in an area of Paris which is far away from where my family lives I was always too lazy to go. Today I finally tried it via delivery, I ordered their Bo bun, I had not eaten a Bo bun for probably 10 years… it was perfect. The rolls (nems) were still crispy… absolutely delicious.

Best food - Edit
The best food I’ve tried in Paris so far, I went there and took the lunch menu, the portions were great, it was super fresh, and everything on the plate had its own flavour, honestly one of the best vegan meals I’ve had in a long time, the lady serving us was super nice as well. I totally recommend it, best food at a super decent price In relation of the price and the portions.

Favourite meal - Edit
This has been one of my favourite meals I’ve had since moving to paris 10 months ago. The staff were lovely and they had loads of brochures on veganism. The menu is massive and me and my friend got overwhelmed by choice - we asked for the waiter’s recommendation so we ordered the marmite au poulet and the duck noodles. Both were so flavourful and delicious. Portions are large and filling while prices are low. It was 11.75€ each. Our dishes has both fake meat, tofu, mushrooms and vegetables - generous portions of all! They have condiments to adjust spice. Can’t recommend enough and I will defo be returning to try the menu midi !
