Ruined our wedding anniversary dinner - Edit
I booked at the C Restaurant as I knew it was the type of restaurant that would add something nice to celebrate my our wedding anniversary. After we had finished our meal, and before we left our table to settle the bill, I purposely sat at the table with my wife for approx. 10+ minutes to see if something was going to happen, like a nice little something that would help us celebrate our special day. But nothing did. So, we settled the bill and I asked why they did nothing for the anniversary, despite explicitly adding that to my booking, twice (selection, and in the free text field). The Duty Manager said, “the plate is on the bill”. I asked, “what plate ?”. And then he realized nothing had happened, and casually apologized while charging my card. It was an embarrassment for both my wife and I, and made the C Restaurant look like ill-managed, non-caring, and fake high-class destination that will charge $200+ to be the destination of choice to spend our anniversary that failed to deliver in the worst way
Read moreAfter emailing the restaurant about our disappointment, I received a follow-up phone call from the restaurant manager who ended the call by hanging up on me, after she emphasized it was a "free extra" and there's nothing she can do about it
Not that we dine at McDonald's, but we would get better after-sales service at 10% of the cost. This restaurant is an over-priced tourist destination managed by people who do not value their customers

They ALMOST did the same with me. Our anniversary lunch they waited until the very, very last moment when I had even stood up to leave when the waiter quickly brought out the small anniversary desert with a message on the plate. Don't know why it's something they seem to struggle with so much.

It was ok but the scones weren’t great - Edit
I was meeting a friend and so I had to settle on somewhere that was open and had a vegan high tea. We sat near the window and while the views were impressive as you rotate around, on a very hot day the ac wasn’t sufficient. I thought the scones were very dry and the cream was sweet and overly coconutty. The savoury options about half were ok without being amazing. I thought it was fairly basic for the price. I did have a nice mocktail. It was cool how the restaurant rotated but I don’t think I’d recommend their high tea.

Stunning view ... BUT ! - Edit
What's not to like about being 33 floors up and having a window table ($30 extra) slowly moving around Perth city on sunset
Read moreOn arrival, to celebrate our 30th Anniversary, we were matter of factly wished a Happy Anniversary from the front end reservations lady.
Showed to our seat, magnificent view, can't deny the location for a special romantic celebration dinner with my loved one.
However our wait staff was woking her very first shift, and visibly nervous.
We were given the very limited Vegetarian/Vegan menu, one page with as I say not much selection when you take away the Vegetarian dishes.
The $99 per head charge included one entree & one main meal or dessert (basically two dishes) then charged for anything extra.
I had a cocktail, and four champagnes during the night, my partner is a non drinker. Asked a wait staff how long it took for full rotation “I dunno, 15 mins” googled it later, it takes 90 mins
The meals looked elegant but lacked fusion, a meat chef trying to be fancy. Seemed to be a mushroom theme going on throughout the meals.
Vegan Chickpea Ragu weird flavours.
Vegan Deep fried tofu, boring.
Vegan Meatballs this was odd.
Vegan Mushroom Fagottini
We ordered desert, and waited for over three quarters of an hour, to be told by our wait staff, "its on its way" we thought we had waited long enough and made our way to the front end reservation lady to pay our bill ... $375.90, yep and that was without our dessert.
We’d been at the restaurant for 2 1/2 hrs.
We mentioned to her that we could no longer wait for the dessert, she apologised for us having to wait and then said that she really loved the Vegan deserts, they were her favourite. She then printed out our recipe and said "ohh you've chosen the most popular dishes, chickpeas & tofu", we commented, that they were the only choices we had, she replied "what about the 5 course degustation menu" we said "Ohh, is that on tonight, no one offered this to us" she said "yes its on every night"
We had booked this special night months ago, and was told that there was no degustation course for Vegans, and that there was a limited Vegetarian/Plant based menu available
The following day, Sara called us to apologise, and offered us a $50 voucher for lunch
She also said that the Chef was going to bring out a special dessert saying Happy Anniversary to our table
We told her that we were going home to NSW, and wouldn't be able to return to take up her offer of the $50 voucher. Nothing was offered in its place

Lovely vegan high tea in the sky - Edit
Service from the moment you book to the moment you leave is wonderful! I booked a high tea for my mother (vegetarian) and myself (vegan) as an early Mother’s Day treat and Mum was surprised with a lovely little chocolate dessert with a sparkler and “happy Mother’s Day” sketched on the plate with chocolate sauce. We ordered the classic high tea for $47 each, which comes with endless tea and percolated coffee (you just need to get the staff’s attention when you need a refill), and a combination of scones and jam and cream (coconut cream for the vegan option, which Mum tried and said tasted even better than the regular cream), some savoury sandwiches and a satay rice paper roll, and some delicious sweets. The views are spectacular and you just feel really spoilt throughout. Mum loved it and so did I!

Wonderful for a special occasion! - Edit
Brilliant views over Perth, top service and good vegan options, beautifully presented. Fine dining, so not cheap - ideal for a special occasion. Two of us tried the rosti and the grilled avocado as entrees, the artichoke and the cauliflower mains, triple cooked chips and broccoli sides, and we shared the raw lemon cheesecake for dessert. Everything was delicious! Great the see well thought through vegan options that weren’t just the same as the vegetarian options minus the cheese!
