Vegan Portuguese custard tarts - Edit
Delicious vegan custard tarts. The first proper ones I've tasted since turning vegan 5 yrs ago. Taste just like I remember them. Had strawberry, raspberry, blueberry, and original. A must try when in Soho london.

I Will Dream of This Forever - Edit
This was the most delicious pastel de nata I've ever had. Even prior to being vegan. You MUST try them!
Read moreThey were creamy, flakey and everything you could dream of. I will miss not having easy access to them, but my waistline won't.

Pasel de nata are wonderful - Edit
I have really been missing my favourite treat pastel de nata since becoming vegan, and was so happy when I discovered this amazing place. The pastry is crisp and custard is silky, it's just the best! Highly recommend, and you get a discount for buying 3 or 6 which is extra reason to stock up!

Excellent vegan Pastel de Natas - I always pick up a few to take home when in London. They offer fruit varieties, all are good but the plain one is my favourite. Would definitely recommend any vegan to try these.

Love it! - Edit
I have been searching for vegan natas for ages and was so happy when I found this place in London. It was so delicious! I tried the original one and the one with blueberries - both were great. The coffee isn't bad either and the atmosphere was cozy. Just note that using milk alternative costs extra.

Loved the pastéis de nata. Really nice, but they were cold, could be warmer.

Flaky custardy goodness - Edit
These are really good vegan pastel de nata. They offer either plain “custard”, strawberry or blueberry vegan options.
Read moreThere was only the strawberry available when we went but this was a flaky fruity delight.
Just a shame there were only a few left otherwise I would have bought more.
Pros: Flaky pastry, Smooth custard, Great flavour
Cons: Only a few left with a 20 min cook time on more.

Goooooood. I often go to this place, and every time, the pastry is warm, like just pulled out of the oven. They now offer 3 versions, original, blueberry and raspberry

Delicious pastéis de nata - Edit
Small chain in central London that does just pastel de nata including vegan ones in plain, strawberry, raspberry and blueberry. Its the only place in Britain that I have found them. Not expensive either - £7.50 for three. The Old Compton Street has few window seats to have pastries with coffee or tea - a good place to people watch.

Delicious vegan pastel de natas - Edit
Have been wanting to visit here for ages and we were not disappointed with the natas. We got an original and a blueberry one and both were delicious- flaky pastry, sweet custard that was the right level of gooey/firmness. It’s more of a take away place although we managed to get some seats at the window

SO GOOD! - Edit
It’s literally the best snack you could imagine and it’s vegan! Only complaint is it costs more for the vegan one than the dairy one and they charge 50p for milk alternatives😒but it’s so delicious I almost don’t mind

Incredible vegan Natas - Edit
Wish I’d bought a box now as I’ve been thinking about how good they were all day! I had the strawberry one and my partner had the plain. Flaky pastry creamy filling, would never know the difference.

Creamy Veganata to Go - Edit
During my trip to London with my mum we wanted to find a cafe to sit down and relax. We found Cafe de Nata on happy cow and thought it looked great, but were pretty disappointed when we arrived to find out that it was tiiiny and anything but a cozy cafe! It was extremely bright, there was seating for only four people and they were all taken. Bad research on my part. Oh well, we decided to stay anyway.
Read moreThe street of Cafe de Nata and it's surrounding vibe was amazing. It was full of bars and gay clubs and very lively. We were at Cafe de Nata for around 30 minutes and during that time there was a steady stream of people coming in to buy natas.
When we arrived there was only one veganata left. I had to wait about 15 minutes until a new batch of veganatates was ready. I had a raspberry veganata and cappuccino (£4.50). It was my first time eating a nata and it was absolutely delicious. The creamy inside was warm and finger-licking yummy.
Cafe de Nata is a great place to visit if you want some delicious vegan natas. Just be aware that it's more of a takeout place.

Great that you can easily get vegan versions. 50p extra for dairy free milk in coffee though.
