Best Vegan Pastries - Edit
Oh my goooooodness! These are the best vegan pastries I've ever had. Eating these was truly a spiritual experience. We got a box to go with a croissant, chocolate croissant, apple brioche, pumpkin tart, and an acorn squash focaccia. The only thing that was sold out that we wanted to try when we got there was the almond croissant. I felt like I died and went to heaven with every bite. Wish I lived closer to Montreal so that I could pick up a box of pastries every weekend from Cafe Dei Campi. Wow wow wow! A must try if you are in Montreal!

Fully vegan Italian deliciousness - Edit
The dough for the cookies and pizzetas are delicious. It’s hard to find vegan food having like they have. Great affogato, focaccia, calzones. Staff is upbeat and friendly. Easy access on a bike, too. Definitely check this place out!

Pleasantly surprised, but good stuff sells out fast - Edit
They have a great selection of vegan and Italian pastries, which from what I know is one of a kind in Montreal. I really enjoyed the lemon cookie and the Nutella pastry too. The salted caramel pecan pastry was pretty good. Wouldn’t order the chocolate chip cookie or apple turnover again. Excited to try out their savoury stuff and cannolis, since they were sold out when we went.
Read moreThe annoying thing is that it seems you have to reserve in advance or show up early to have access to their popular stuff. Staff is beyond friendly. :)

Two words: VEGAN PASTRIES!!!! - Edit
This was the 1st time I've had a croissant since going vegan 5 years ago - more amazing than I remember!! So many vegan options from donuts to sourdough bread to biscotti to pasta sauce.

Excellent vegan Italian pastries - Edit
I've been wanting to try this fully vegan Italian bakery for years. This place was packed when I came on Sunday morning, and I understand why! The almond croissant was absolutely delicious - flaky and crisp on the outside, soft on the inside, generously filled with almond paste. It was well worth the 5$ and the long line. In addition to traditional Italian pastries and coffee, they also offer savory options such as pizzas, focaccia, calzones, soup, and sandwiches. I'll definitely be back with family and friends to try out some other items - the bombolone looked amazing as well.

Delicious!😍 - Edit
I love it here. It is also very appreciated by my non-vegan Italian family too! There is a delicious variety of vegan Italian baked goods and food, including Nutella bombolini, Nutella raviolis, cornetto, lemon cookies, cannolis pizzettes, calzones, and more! I wish the bombolinis were always available and not just on certain occasions though. 😍♥️

A culinary revelation - Edit
Cafe Dei Campi was a pleasant surprise. Fully vegan, their food is fresh, delicious and feels like it was homemade by your Italian Nona. I wanted to try all the things and almost exploded in the process: various pizzas, soups and their forte: cakes and cookies. Vegan heaven- must visit if you're in the area.

Really Great Sweets - Edit
We had some Peach Strawberry Tarts which were quite delicious but not mind blowing. They were mostly closed when we visited Montreal and we had to reserve ahead of time so we didn't get the full experience. Still a lovely option for vegans.

Sweet and savory! - Edit
Last time I went they had just a little pop-up in an Italian restaurant, but it says on their website they're gonna reopen soon in a different location. Anyways, I tried a lot of their pastries and savory stuff, it was all fantastic! You won't find a vegan version of these baked goods anywhere else in Montreal!

Great italian pastries and donuts - Edit
Cafe dei Campi is one of my favorite place in Montreal. Everything is good, but the bombolini (italian donuts) are AMAZING. Note that they do the bombolinis only approximately a weekend per month. I also love the artichoke sandwich!! There is also now a online shop where you can pre-order food and get it during the weekend. The pizza dough (you buy the dough and make your own pizza) is super thick, cripsy but tender at the same. Moreover, the hot-dog buns will make you like any hot-dog!
Read morePros: Amazing vegan pastries , Nice staff
Cons: Hard to find a sitting spot during the weekend , Short opening hours (even before COVID-19), No matcha latte

Amazing Vegan Italian Pastries - Edit
Cafe dei Campi is an adorable neighborhood cafe that is walkable from the Rosemont Metro station. It's tucked away on a side street but worth the walk! It is nearly all-vegan that offers Italian pastries, breakfast, and great coffee. Found it by chance and went back multiple times!
