Delicious pastries!!

Charming little bakery / café with a small seating area that overlooks a large parc. It's quiet and quaint. The service is friendly, their menu includes sandwiches, mini pizzas, pastries, tartlets, cookies etc... Everything is fresh, refined and delicious. Their vegan canollis are to die for!

Hidden little gem du quartier Rosemont

The best vegan café in Montreal

This was my first time at Cafe Dei Campi. I was one of a hand full lucky participants on their brunch between Christmas and New Years. The owner and the employees were so welcoming that it felt like home. Cannot wait to try every single yummy thing from their menu :-)

Pros: Awesome coffee & delicious food, Excellent service, View to a park

Cons: Parking

Best vegan pastries in Montreal

I love this new Italian coffee, I go there every week to eat good pastries and for the savoury dishes. I am particularly a fan of cornettos that are croissants stuffed with chocolate and the dough infused with orange flower. Also, they sometimes make doughnuts on weekends that are decadent! Not to mention all the other good sweets like cookies, brioches, muffins, tarts, chaussons, etc. For the savoury dishes, their pizettes (small pizzas) and calzones (kind of stuffed pizzas) are really good. I also love the tomato salad. They make bread in the form of baguette, multigrain bread, walnut bread, etc. And what's more, everything is vegan (excluding choice of cow's milk or cheese in the sandwich). The prices are surprisingly affordable. The owner is very friendly. In short, highly recommended!

Pros: excellent pastries and savoury dishes, friendly staff, good value

Cons: not fan of the music

Original and fantastic

I've been at Café Dei Campi several times and everything I've tried (coffee, pizzas, caramel tartlets, cornettos, etc.) has been more than great. They offer pastries and dishes you can't get anywhere else in Montreal when you're vegan and it's all very affordable. I could eat there every single day.

If you want to eat something savory, wait until lunch time before going there.

Pros: Great value, Excellent customer service, Fabulous food

Cons: Cow cheese and milk is available

Incredible!

Loved this place. Owner was behind the counter, explained every item, which he prepared himself, and most were based on Sicilian family recipes. Really friendly atomshpere, great food and coffee. Def must visit in Montreal.

Charming Italian Cafe

I loved Cafe Dei Campi. I tried and enjoyed the roasted vegetable sandwich, pizzette, lemon scone, pistachio tart, cornetto, and bostock. All were fresh and delicious, and I have to say the pistachio tart was my favorite because of the vegan caramel and the chocolate at the bottom. The cafe is clean and inviting. The owner is very nice and accommodating. Definitely worth a visit or two while in Montreal!

Pros: delicious food, friendly staff, inexpensive

Disappointed

We really wanted to like this place. We traveled farther to get here during our stay and it was such a disappointment. The pizza was minimal and dough not cooked all the way; the soup was tasteless and oily and lacked substance. The only thing good was the cookie I had there. I think this place is better for their sweets (baked goods) and for coffee, but not for food. Nothing about the food we had was authentic Italian or tasty. We've traveled to Italy and had lots of good Italian pizzas, minestrone and pasta there and this couldn't compare one bit. But aside from that, this place can't even compare to non-authentic Italian restaurants. It was that bad.

Pros: Friendly staff, Good sweets (baked goods)

Cons: pizza, soup

In my opinion, this review is exaggerated. The beauty of Italian cooking is even the most minimal creations are delicious. Their pizzette with red sauce is tasty in its simplicity: excellent sauce and excellent dough. Doesn't need to be over-the-top.

LOVE this place!

Total gem of a cafe. So delicious, everything is very good, tasty and authentically Italian! I love the Italian desserts & pizzas, but all made vegan. What a great concept. There's always something yummy to eat, whether you want a soup, a little pizza or a sandwich - as well as little tarts, cookies or muffins. The coffee is really delicious as well. Has pretty good WiFi (you can do work here!) and there's a lot of natural light. One of my FAVE places in the area, if not all of Montreal!

Pros: delicious, affordable, cozy and comfy
