The hospitality is unmatched. I‘ve felt so welcome and cared for. All servers were charming and radiated, that they are passionate about what they do. The food was great and had so many jaw dropping flavors, you could barely chew. The non-alcoholic pairing was creative and exciting, with nothing you ever had before. The interior is nice and cozy and does speak to interior enthusiasts like myself. Depending on how you are seated you can look directly into the kitchen. And from seeing the bottles on the shelves, I could spot lot of natural wine from well known vinyards. This is honestly a must for anyone staying in Antwerp.

Dit soort eten kost (wat) meer maar je krijgt er authentieke smaken voor in de plaats.
Ook de drankjes zijn heerlijk om van te nippen.
Wij zijn fan.

We managed to get a table for a special birthday dinner. The food was fabulous, all beautifully presented. The staff were helpful with explanations when needed without being over-attentive. Great atmosphere, relaxed and informal. Would definitely recommend.

I really enjoyed the different beautiful plates. Restaurant a bit hype, though the staff is really nice even if we went there with young children. Incredibly tasty. Can't afford going there often but i will go back whenever i can!

Super gezellig en mooi ingericht resto. Wij namen het 5 gangen menu. Elke gang werd prachtig gepresenteerd en was een genot voor de smaakpapillen. Ideale porties om te delen.

Antwerp fine dining experience - Edit
We ordered the chefs choice 5 course-menu and it was a real fine dining experience. Each course is beautiful decorated and has an excellent, fine, taste (beetroot tasted so different and better than I am used to!). When you taste it it's obvious that the chef did a lot of effort and research to make a dish of top level!

Read moreThe food is of the fine dining experience and the chef's sharing menu was €49 each (though you can choose 2 or 3 dishes to share instead). There were lots of interesting tastes in the food we shared and several delicious combinations. It was also very seasonal with celeriac and mushrooms (November) featuring quite predominantly (check the menu first if you're with a non-vegan who is a bit picky about tastes!).
There were a lot of nut creams used throughout and we had a lovely hazelnut creamy dish with chocolate and madeleines for dessert. The bread that came with it all was a star of the meal. The chipotle mushroom and pesto dish was special too.
We tried a glass each of the orange wine but felt it was quite an acquired taste (and we wished we'd ordered red instead!). It was probably just the one type we tried that we didn't like but if you're unsure, with all the different tastes from the food anyway, it may be worth choosing something more familiar.
It's a lovely place to eat if you fancy a special meal and our servers were very attentive.
They do charge you for water (€3.50 each) even if you ask for tap water and this may be normal in Antwerp. If you like beer or juice more, pay for that instead!
Also a tip: if you go as a couple, get your partner to sit on the chair and you sit on the bench. The chairs screech alarmingly on the floor every time you move them!
Pros: Seasonal with lots of taste combinations, Amazing bread, Lovely staff and ambience
Cons: Expensive , Based on a few ingredients so check you like them

Nog nooit zo lekker gegeten - Edit
Super lekker gegeten. Originele smaken met als klap op de vuurpijl de eikenhaas, deze was zo lekker mals en op smaak gebracht. Ik ben vegan sinds 2015 en daarvoor jaren vegetariër, maar het deed denken aan (wat ik nog weet van) vlees maar dan vele malen lekkerder.
