Great vegan pizza with Numu cheese - Edit

Great to find that this historic West Village night spot has a vegan menu and delicious wood fired oven baked vegan pizza featuring Numu cheese. The cheese is made locally by animal rights activists and is very tasty. I had the Arugula pizza with cherry tomatoes and a tangy lemon dressing. It was so delicious that I could eaten the whole pizza but luckily had my to go container so I could have the rest for breakfast and thank Jill Carnegie and her partners for making this wonderful cheese. The broccoli rabe is a nice side dish as well. They also have vegan wine. It’s nice to have this vegan option so close to Washington Square Park and the Bitter End.

Pros: Vegan menu with cheese by local artisan activists, Colorful history and historic building, Great service and late night dining hours

Cons: Also a very popular bar- may get a bit crowded
