Pls add vegan mayo

I tried this sandwich a few years ago, and it needed sauce. Tried it again- it had a smidge of spicy sauce. A creamy vegan mayo would make it a 5. The bread tasted fresh, and the flavors are ok but-- sauce. A bit of soy mayo would make it a much more popular item.

Pros: Nice bread

Get the sandwich

I got the non-sandwich option, and I regretted it. It didn’t have any lentils or protein that I could tell. It tasted good, but empty calories.

Nice sandwhich.

Quite a good sandwich. The portion I got looked a bit smaller than what I'd seen in the reviews here but nonetheless it was good and quite filling. It settled my bread craving for a while.

Pros: Cheap!, Nice atmosphere

Cons: Soups and salads available too

Fantastic sandwiches

One of the best sandwiches I've ever eaten. Spiced lentils, roasted veg, salad, potato fritters, chili sauce all on a beautiful crunchy baguette. It's extremely messy but totally worth it!!

Staff are really nice and happy to chat. Great price and well worth the visit!

Pros: Fantastic flavours, Cheap, Good portion sizes

I was on my way to Vegetus but unfortunately (fortunately) it was closed because while walking along the streets hoping Korea has some vegan food, I found this place!! This is a Moroccan based place that serves sandwiches, strews, lentil soup, etc… the portions are filling and prices are sooo affordable!!!

I am so sad I found this at the end of my Korean trip but I can’t imagine my life having never known this place ♥️

I will definitely be going here again before I leave and I encourage you to do the same!!

Pros: Delicious , Clearly labeled vegan options , Good prices

Cons: I wish I knew about this place sooner

nice effort with sandwich

The place was packed for lunch so it is nice they even bother to have a vegan option on menu. The sanwich tasted like fried mashed potato, carrots and lentils. It was ok... ate most of it. I guess if you are with meat eaters who want sandwich then this is a good place.

Vegan Shakshuka!! Self order kiosk with clearly marked vegan entries.

We came in about 1/2 hour after restaurant just opened. We came in warm and sweaty, lol. The staff saw that and immediately closed the doors and turned on the air, thank you for not waiting for us to ask. The self order kiosk was easy to use, though we didn’t know how to finish paying because it was in Korean, again the same staff happily helped us charge our card. The lentil soup, and salads were vegan but not marked so, we ordered them based on previous reviews. The vegan shakshuka came out sizzling, be still my heart, we never had shakshuka before because it’s made with poaching eggs. Well, this one had melting vegan cheese on it, delicious flavors and textures, served with crispy hot slices of baguette . The sandwich was huge, again delicious, as were the salad and soup. The mint tea was poured from up high, and indeed froths were formed, sweet and strong fresh mint flavor. We enjoyed every minute of the experience eating there.

Best sandwiches in Seoul

Very likely they serve the best sandwiches in Korea. Definitely should check it out if you’re in the area.

Must try their sandwich and soup

If it is vegan restaurant, I would give 5 stars. The visual of food is delightful, and the taste of food makes you dance. The owner takes care of foods and customers the best.

One of the best vegan sandwiches

They had a vegan and a vegetarian sandwich on the menu. The price was okay and the taste amazing!
It was kinda messy to eat the sandwich, because it was stuffed with so many ingredients (lentils, tomatoes, fried things, etc.)
You even get cilantro on top!

They made them pretty fast and the baguette was very crispy.

Pros: tasty sandwich, cute interior

Great vegan sandwich

The sandwich is delicious and relatively cheap for what you get. They use great real baguette which is nice and crispy on the outside. My friend (non vegan) who I came with on that day said: "this is the best sandwich I ever had"

Pros: Lovely friendly staff, Great price, Delicious sandwich

Cons: Not much space, quite small

One option but it’s tasty :)

There is one vegan and one vegetarian sandwich, but in fairness there’s only maybe 6 sandwiches on the menu. They also have a few soups that are probably vegan. The staff seemed pretty aware of veganism since they pointed out that the sauces we got were vegan too.

The sandwich was 9,000, and big and tasty. I added the sauce given in pots via the fork, and I think otherwise it would have lacked a little flavour. It had lentils and some almost hash-brown like potato things inside.

Also they have done a lot of attention to detail on the decor - the music, lighting, floor, walls ect are all well done in a Moroccan style. The staff was also really nice and friendly too

Pros: Nice decor , Tasty sandwich and good size, Friendly staff

OMG!

I finally managed to stray away from my addiction to Morococo’s Moroccan over rice to try this place across the street twice. Both times I was amazed! The veggie sandwich and shakushaku are so tasty! Now I’m going to have a really hard time picking which of these three dishes to eat.

Great food, pretty cheap, nice place but not a super atmosphere

We came with a big group to Morococo restaurant (right across the street) but since that place is pretty small, they sent us to Casablanca Sandwicherie which they work with. We sat down there with the group and we could order from both places! All the side dishes in here are vegan and you can ask for a vegan sandwich. I had the vegan Morocco over rice from the other place which was sooo good! This place wasn't as cozy as the Morococo place but it was super nice.

Pros: Really good cheap food, All side dishes are vegan, Can order from this place and Morococo restaurant

Cons: Not as cozy as Morococo restaurant

Awesome

I tried their veggie sandwich and I loved it. Big size just how I like it! I also liked the lentil soup. But it has a strong flavor not everyone enjoys.

Best vegetarian sandwich in Seoul

This place is a Seoul intitution. Herbivores and omnivores alike love the Moroccan veg sandwich with fried spiced potato patties on a fresh French baguette. They do a veg shakshuka and some spicy meat-free lentils as well.

One of my regular stops

Very cozy place with a good lentil soup and veggie sandwich. Not much without meat, though. The owner is extremely nice and the prices are reasonable, but the closing hours seem a little inconsistent. Also, the Happy Cow description says they only take cash - not true. They will happily let you pay with a card.

Pros: Cheap, Comfortable, Tasty

Cons: Irregular-ish hours

good sandwich

The sandwich is from a real bread - baguette style. The carrot salad was very very spicy, be careful! They sell also beer and wine.
We were told by the stuff, that just 20 meters away, on the other side of the street, they have also a Moroccan coffee/bistro, with lunches and a new vegan dish, but we have not tried it yet.

Pros: price, taste

Cons: too spicy

Delicious!!!

I love their veggie sandwich! The place makes their own bread from scratch and really tastes like bread, and not a spongy taste in most bakeries in Korea. Sometimes I would end up eating my lunch and dinner at the same place. Also the prices make me so happy!

Pros: Price, taste, Staff

Cons: none

worth visiting

Definetly one of my favourite places in HBC. may have few vegan options but the ones they have are totally worth it! the service is fast and good and if asked the vegeterian sandwich can be made vegan.
The apetizere are vegan itself, i totally love the lentil soup.
The pay is a logical one for its portions.

Pros: Tasty, Fast and good service, Good portions

Cons: Few vegan options

Best sandwiches in Seoul!

I adore this place. The prices are super affordable and the quality is excellent. Their menu is halal and they have a veggie sandwich (can be made vegan) and a veggie platter that is naturally vegan. The service is great too.

Pros: Tasty, Affordable, Good service

Cons: Not completely vegan
