Order at the bar. A piano is available for anyone who can play. Reservations available, not necessary for under 3 people. Max table size 8 people, group booking for up to 18 a day in advance. Heating & Air-con. Companion animals welcome (despite the name no cats live at the venue). Relocated from C/ Boria 17. Open Mon-Sun 18:00-23:30. Last order 1 hour before close. last order for drinks 11pm.

Super cute place, decorated with a lot of care—you feel right at home. The owners are super nice. The burgers and fries were absolutely amazing. It’s also really affordable for what you get (a meal with a burger, salad, and fries costs €15.50).

Lovely burger bar in Barcelona! - Edit
I came back here after a visit 14 years ago that stayed in my mind. The patatas bravas are second to none. The burger was too big for me but a great portion and value!

Loved this cosy bar. The staff are nice, the decor is great and they have the best vegan patatas bravas I've ever had. They serve a good variety of local craft beers so it's definitely worth stopping by if you're in this part of the city

Hole in the Wall with Tofu Fish Sandwich - Edit
In the Gothic Quarter of Barcelona, my wife and I found the Vegan Cat Bar. The Bar is amazingly themed to both cats and the Catalonia region of Spain. The artwork all over the walls make a cool vibe.
Read moreAs for food, my wife and I had slightly different experiences. I ordered the To-fish sandwich, a fried tofu cutlet with seaweed and vegan tartar sauce. The seaweed really did a great job of adding umami to make it taste fishy - a trick I've used for paella. The bun was okay, but the actual tofu was cooked perfectly.
My wife had the black bean burger and just felt the patty was a bit bland and disappointing. I saw this echoed in other reviews. The place is still worth a visit, but I'd try going with the To-fish Sandwich.
Nevertheless, we both got the papas bravas and that was a clear winner for us both. It's a great spot that definitely makes you feel like a local.

I loved the aesthetic, politics, and vibes of this secluded spot. However, unfortunately I was a bit underwhelmed by the burgers which I thought lacked acidity and salt. The bravas were nice and fresh, but also lacked salt. Overall, because of the prices and atmosphere I'll probably be back, but flavor-wise not necessarily my favorite.

Maybe the best raspberry sour with brett I have had, fab beer. With olives and bravas was just wow. We're here for 8 days, I'm coming here every day. Roy behind the bar is really nice.

Cute place that ticks all the boxes…mostly local beers, vegan food and pictures of cats! Although the menu looks like “vegan junk food” the burgers and tofish all appear to be made in-house, so you can kid yourself it’s healthy 😄

Estamos de viaje probando distintos sitios veganos, con diferencia este es el peor.
Read moreMalos platos, muy poco elaborados para lo carísimo que son. El pan duro, las hamburguesas con un sabor muy poco agradable. Si de por si costaba comerlas, ver al cocinero como sin ninguna higiene manipulaba los alimentos fue el colmo.
Para remate, el local está muy sucio, no es agradable comer en un sitio tan poco higiénico.
Nada recomendable si pides un mínimo de nivel y de limpieza.

I love this place! The owner and staff are amazing. The space is cozy, warm, and full of thoughtful details. Their beer selection matches my taste perfectly, the tofish is exquisite, and I’m a big fan of their black burger they serve the best patatas bravas!
