Amazing Indian food - Edit
I very much like the fact that they have options for onion and garlic free for Buddhists and everything was really yummy too.

This place is anti-vegan. - Edit
This was when I was a vegetarian: It was very good and the pizza toasties were the best. Very flavourful. The ice-creams were on-pointe.
Read moreNOW AFTER I TURNED TO A VEGAN I REALISED THIS PLACE IS NOT VEGAN-FRIENDLY AT ALL! I could barely get a couple of items that pleased me from the menu. The staff barely knew what vegan meant. I’m not even sure if the place was food-safe as the tables are so dirty and sticky. When I was younger I was ignorant and didn’t mind, but now I am concerned. I dread to think the state of the kitchen.
I’m changing my review from a 4 star to 2 star.

Good place, has vegan and vegeterian options - Edit
They have decent options for those who also want to avoid FODMAP foods like onion and garlic that can cause triggers and inflammation for some people. Plenty of vegetarian options and some vegan too.

Street food options - Edit
This place is a family go to due to the wide range of starter options. I like the chaats and aubergine stir fry (although sometimes aubergine dishes are not available if they are busy). Some dishes are okay, not amazing.

Dangerous for people with food allergies, unpleasant for vegans - Edit
I stressed from the beginning that I was interested in vegan options. I was given the allergy menu and picked out the masala dosa dish as according to the allergy menu it didn't contain any animal products. I got my dish with a coconut chutney that contained yoghurt. I wasn't offered a replacement meal and I didn't event get a reduction off the bill. The staff was not accomodating at all and, frankly, rude. Not happy at all with the visit, not sure if the dosa itself was cooked with ghee. They need to sort out their attitude towards vegans and customers with allergies.
Read morePros: Vegan options (theoretically), Affordable
Cons: Staff is rude and not accomodating, No certainty that food is *indeed* vegan
