Vegan and vegetarian sattvic food without garlic, onion, mushroom, alcohol, or soy. All profit goes to its project "Lunch for all" through which free vegan food is distributed to socially vulnerable local people (see Facebook link). NOTE: Currently open for deliveries and pickup. Email or message via Facebook the day before you want a meal or by 8 am that day. Meals are delivered within Karlovac or can be collected between 11 and 2pm. Open Mon-Fri 08:00-14:00. Closed Sat-Sun.

Chandra is amazing! It offers nutritional, filling and super- delicious meals for a very fair price. Support their projects and treat yourself with a great meal. Don't miss it when in Karlovac!

Good cheap food usually vegan! - Edit
Chandra is an cruelty free kitchen outpost in a non veggie friendly city that survives because it does deliveries of cheap lunchtime meals. There is usually only one option per day, it changes each day and except for certain pizza days it is always vegan. Though some times the pizzas are vegan! To guarantee a meal it is better to arrive either at 11 in the morning or book a meal in advance as they cook only so much per day and when its gone, its gone!
Read moreThe decor is humble and the location a bit out of the way (but central!) but the service is friendly the food satisfying and cost only 25KN which is about £3.
This project is part of a free food scheme and deserves support.
