Outstanding experience in every way! The staff go above and beyond and the food comes out hot, quick, and flavorful. If you say “vegan” they got you covered!

Very friendly and accommodating. Limited plant base menu but owner willing to add a few more items to menu. Clean clean clean. Hard to find places who pride themselves in clean restaurant. Food is excellent.

Best Thai in Tucson - Edit
Char's is our favorite Thai restaurant in Tucson. Nearly all the vegetarian options can be made vegan. Non-vegan items can often be made vegan with extra veggies instead of meat, or with tofu. Be very clear with the staff, and you'll get a nice, hearty, vegan meal. They don't have hundreds of choices, but what they have is sufficient for a Thai craving fix.

We ordered a dish off the vegetarian part of the menu, and specified that we were vegan, but we unfortunately still found a piece of chicken in our meal. Very disappointing. Food would have been good otherwise.

Not only do they have a separate vegetarian section on their menu, but you can get any of their specialties with tofu and the wait staff is knowledgeable about which items can be made vegan.
