Read moreOrders can currently be placed via phonecall, WhatsApp message or in person right infront of the restaurant.
At the moment they offer takeaway and delivery only. If you bring your own plastic containers, they will put the dishes into them to save one-way packaging.
Our orders were ready within 10 minutes and the food (vegan duck with peanut sauce and vegan chicken with coconut curry) tasted very good.
The only little downer was the very small amount of fresh veggies in the curries.
I hope Chay Long will make it well through the pandemic. We'll definitely come back once dining in is an option again.

A friend of mine recommended me the vegan duck in this Vietnamese restaurant, this is why I tried the vegan duck with rice and peanut sauce. ( I love rice with peanut sauce haha.) The portion seems small at the beginning but holy crap, I was so full afterwards and I was pretty glad that I shared the Banh Bao (No. 1) with my friend. Both dishes are so delicious and flavorful!

We ate the banh bao, the curry with vegan duck and the vegan duck in peanut sauce. I drank the No.40, which taste like my parents made for me. Too good!
If I visit Berlin again, I will definitely stop at this incredible restaurant!

Wir haben dieses vegane Restaurant durch Zufall entdeckt und wären fast in eines der anderen veganen Restaurants in der Raumerstr. eingekehrt. Irgendetwas trieb uns jedoch glücklicherweise bis zu Chay Long. Nr. 22 (Suppe) war super, 1 und 11 ebenso und das Nicht-ganz-so-scharfe-Curry war göttlich und so erfreulich anders als die anderen veganen Currys der Stadt. 👏 Sehr freundliche Bewirtung!

What a nice discovery I've made today! I live close by and never gave much attention to this place! What a misbehavior😄I can only recommend this place! The service is great, the food is delicious, colorful and fresh. I'll be back again and again. PS: I really enjoyed the Bánh Xèo and the Bánh Bao 🤤

I am so glad my friend recommended me this place to try out her favourite vegan duck in town and I must say, I was not disappointed ! Super crispy on the outside and very tender inside, they truly know how to handle seitan and make it delicious. The lady serving us was very kind, the drinks were lovely, so was the Banh Bao we had as a starter. Please note that this place does not serve alcohol at all.

If you like peanuts you should go for the rice with peanut sauce and vegan duck/chicken. It is one of my most favourite dishes ever! I ate it for like 50 times, haha! The owner lady is very friendly and the atmosphere is cosy and looks buddhist. The food always appears fresh and is served beautifully.

We had different rice dishes at Chay Long, and they were all good. Mine - something with mushrooms and tofu - was maybe the best, in my opinion, but the others, a meal with peanut sauce and something else, were also fine, if maybe more regular.

This is a vegetarian/vegan restaurant but all veggie dishes can be altered to vegan which is great. Starters of seitan satay, bao and dumpling soup and main of curry rice dish with mock duck were fantastic. A noodle dish was a bit plain tasting but overall the food was great and really good value. Just as a note, they do not serve alcohol but their teas made with fresh spices/fruit were a great accompaniment on a chilly February evening.
