Cozy vietnamese

Me and my gf had an avocado mango shake which was very yummy 🦄💕 the restaurant is quite cute, as if decorated by a Vietnamese woman with the intention of being relaxing (spa-like). Toilet is nice too 👌 everything is very clean 💎✨
Had vegan "duck" - never seen or eaten it anywhere else. Very interesting and yummy with curry, rice and vegetables🍛💚 Oh, and we got free coconut porridge desert with taro. One of the two most interesting porridges I've had. Come here, it's worth it :)

Yummy

Really great food for reasonable prices (8/9€ for a main dish). Almost all dishes are vegan. The interior is too bright for my taste though, no dating environment. The waiter/waitress were a bit slow but super friendly. We were there twice and it was always totally empty. Sad part: no alcohol.

Pros: Almost only vegan, Reasonable prices , Friendly staff

Cons: No alcohol

Delicious and so many vegan options!

They have wonderful soups that are perfect for a cold night. We started with an appetizer soup (perfectly spiced with dumplings, tofu, and mushrooms) and a steamed dumpling wrapped in a bamboo leaf and filled with savory vegan indulgences. Then for my meal, I had a bean thread soup with tofu and vegetables. The broth was delicious and soothing. Their desserts are not to be missed either!

Pros: Lots of vegan options , Delicious soups, dumplings, and desserts , Great service

too spicy for my taste

I went to Chay Long with great expectations, given the good reviews here in Happycow, but... I didn't enjoy the dinner as much as I expected. The food is good, but not better than that of other Vietnamese restaurants in town (Anh Dao, to name one). Prices are below average, I would say, with most main dishes at about 7 euros. Four stars from me! Also, everything was spicy, even the dishes that theoretically (that is, according to the menu) shouldn't have been spicy!

The most glorious vegan food in Berlin

This place has the most delicious food. The staff are really friendly too. Had some really nice homemade soft drinks. Dumplings were particularly glorious!

delicious but with a lot of oil and added sugar

Chay Long is a pleasant setting for a meal with friends. A quiet, Vietnamese-decorated restaurant with an extensive menu. All is vegan except the condensed milk for the coffee. The presentation is lovely and the portions are huge. It is a great value for your money. However, unlike the other options we visited in Berlin, this restaurant did not focus as much on healthy options. It is delicious but with a lot of oil and added sugar. Also, almost each meal on the menu comes with some sort of tofu or seitan. We started with crispy fried rice paper rolls filled with organic tofu, morels, shiitake mushrooms, glass noodles and vegetables, served with a homemade soy sauce (3.40 euros). For an entree we had various vegetables in a very delicious homemade peanut sauce with organic tofu (Cơm Sốt Lạc, 7.50 euros) and steamed rice with marinated organic tofu, seitan, mushrooms, oyster mushrooms, fresh vegetables and gravy (Cơm Thập Cẩm, 7.50 euros). The latter did not have a lot flavour and had more seitan than mushrooms.

frisch, lecker, entspannt

Wir hatten Curry mit veganer "Ente" und Glasnudelsalat - beides sehr lecker. (Das Curry ist recht scharf.) Die Atmosphäre ist angenehm ruhig und die Menschen/Mitarbeiter sehr freundlich.

Pros: Preise angemessen , Bio-Tofu

A Vegan Gem

This restaurant is really beautiful. When you enter this restaurant, you feel the special atmosphere.
I really enjoyed to stay there. The dishes were fantastic. Most of them are vegan, only one is vegetarian (and is declared). They don´t use glutamate. It´s now my favourite vegan restaurant.

Pros: Fantastic Cooking, Beautiful Atmosphere, Normal Prices
