Needs salt but lovely - Edit
We had the crispy beef, duck and noodles, and satay skewers. Lovely flavours but we ate it in our car (not local) so didn’t have salt to hand which would have really added to it. Speedy friendly service😄

Chinese is one of my absolute favourite cuisines and when I came across a completely vegan restaurant I was so excited to try it! And OMG did it succeed! Me and my non vegan partner had crispy duck pancakes, Malaysian curry, duck chow mein and crispy pork balls. Every single thing was delicious, it was so nice to eat a meal with fake meat and it actually tasting of real meat! My partner did not miss that it wasn’t the real deal because he said he tasted the exact same, if not better, and I completely agree! The chow mein was packed full of flavours and was so surprised because some chow mein a from other restaurants are quite bland. We both highly recommend ANYONE to get a Chinese from here because it was amazing! The flavours were beautiful and it was so nice not to feel sluggish and greasy after! 10/10

The food from this place is amazing. Always freshly cooked and beautifully presented in cardboard containers. A little pricey but worth it. Unfortunately we are too far away for delivery so have to pick up, but it was great to see how beautifully clean the place is too. I can highly recommend this for your next Chinese takeaway.

Read moreMy non vegan partner was also really impressed, and said the texture and taste of some mock dishes like calamari was spot on (to the point I re checked it was vegan!!) Lots of effort goes into texture of the dishes as well as flavour. Can't wait to try more!

Not the cheapest but really something special. The Vietnamese spring rolls with the sweet vinegar dip were amazing, fantastic lemon fish, popcorn tofu & king po tofu. Lovely fresh vegetables. Delivered on time.

Had a delivery whilst staying at a local animal retreat which was around 30 minutes from the takeaway. The food arrived and was still hot, good packaging meant it didn’t go soggy, and more importantly the food tasted great. Highly recommended.

I loved the spring rolls filled with black mushrooms. The vegan chicken dish with peanuts and vegetables was unusual -- I think it had heart of palm in it, but I'm not sure. Tasted fine. The eggplant 'fish' was a little light on the eggplant and swimming in a lot of sauce. More a 3.5 stars overall.

Finally got here, on the way back to Devon..and been meaning to get to Cheungs since finding out about them, from Happy Cow and being in the area at the right time..and, oh my! Every dish we ordered was bloody brilliant. I devoured the popcorn tofu and vegan chilli beef 🤤 and some satay skewers while the other half had lemon vegan shrimp, sweet and sour vegan chicken balls, chow mein and rice..absolutely fantastic. We were considering going back to give a round of applause but continued on home instead (sorry!). Ooh and thank you for the complimentary no prawn crackers ❤️

Best Chinese takeaway we’ve had in a longggg time. Had it two nights in a row whilst visiting bristol as it was just too good to pass up on our last night! All vegan, beautifully made, very quick service with polite staff and cleanly shop. Food was incredible, definitely worth the money, even down to the rice, it was very well made. Definitely something for everyone!
