Good curry - Edit
I visited this place as part of a mixed group. The labeling on the menu is slightly unclear, so you need to talk to the staff and specify vegan. The curry tasted great, but the fried rice noodles were too salty, and the water spinach was alright. The staff was friendly but forgot some orders. Overall, I had a good time, but I wouldn't return just for the vegan food. I prefer the other Co Chin Chin branch.

Nice Dinner - Edit
Went to the restaurant as a work event and besides myself being vegan they also have gluten free options for celliac people. Especially happy about the vegan dessert options!

Are these actual sharp peppers, live in Switzerland?! Very good food, the green tea is a special tip.

Read the menu carefully! - Edit
I am terribly sorry for leaving a 2-star review, but there is a *huge* problem with Co Chin Chin's menu, which all vegetarians need to be aware of:
Read moreThere is a "vegetarian" section on the menu. Some of the dishes are marked with an asterisk. Further down the page, it says that dishes marked with an asterisk CONTAIN FISH SAUCE.
I do not understand how in 2019, anyone still lists dishes under "vegetarian" when they are not vegetarian.
Yes, vegan options are available, but in Switzerland it is in fact illegal to label food "vegetarian" when it is made with fish sauce.

Pros: vegan options available
Cons: vegetarian dishes made with fish sauce (!!!), vegetarian dishes made with fish sauce (!!!), vegetarian dishes made with fish sauce (!!!)

vegan options are delicious - Edit
We always order the cari chay - vegan curry with tofu, vegetables and rice or the tauhu chien - crispy tofu with garlic, lemongrass, mint and rice. You also have to try the sweetpotato fries, super delicious with a vegan dip sauce. The pho chay with ricenoodles, tofu and vegetables is yummy, too. But you have to order it with vegan stock.

Great selection - Edit
One of the few non-veg places where vegans get a real good selection of dishes - no less than seven can be made vegan according to the menu (so do tell the servers). The lemongrass based one I tried was unusual but I liked it. Service/atmosphere/pricing earn it four stars, but choice would be five if there were any dessert options.

Try it - Edit
Many dishes can be made vegan when they remove the fish sause. I had spicy fried tofu which was really good! My non vegan husband was also very happy with this place.
