So, the nachoes were great. Everything else was plain. I was brought pork and the waitress said the chefs were like "that's not vegan"? It made me nervous when they brought it back "fixed" whether they really knew what vegan was. They have lots of options, but my friend and I found the tacos quite meh and would not go back except perhaps if we were craving really good vegan nachoes. And the service wasn't great.

Super fun options - Edit
It’s the first restaurant I’ve been to where their menu has a designation of “can’t be made vegan” instead of what few items are “vegan”. It was really cool to see so few items not veganizable. I went with meat eaters who weren’t pumped on their meat burgers but all the vegan items I had were wonderful. The server was super knowledgeable and did well with our large party.

Happy cow really needs to allow half stars, bc I would give it 3.5. The staff was sooo very nice but the service wasn't the best. We ordered a bloody Mary that never came and would have said something but we were also waiting on a salad so we didn't want to push our luck. I was done eating by the time her salad came out. Enough with the complaining, the food was very refreshing, fresh tasting, pretty tasty, but I little pricey for what it was. I really liked that most things could be veganized, and had alot of options as well.

I had the vegan beef tacos ‘mericanized and authentic with a side of black beans. The vegan beef was not the “ground” style I was expecting and more so like a steak style. Nonetheless, they were delicious tacos probably made better due to the salsa roja and verde. Service was excellent and the food came out quickly. Would go back and try other menu items

Great tasting fast street food. As a British visitor they had the best chips (fries) I've had in the country so far. Loved it!

I was able to get almost taco on the menu veganized and they were delicious. I got the wayfarer and the fixie. Both were delicious! They have a vegan version of, beef, chicken, fish, and chorizo.

2020 visit was crappy - Edit
Was so excited to come here for dinner in July 2020. Got there and the server was inpatient, and rude when I was looking for vegan options. I ended up having a very bland white rice and veggie bowl with no sauces. She "couldn't confirm" what was or what wasn't vegan regarding sauces. I am sure it was a "one time thing" but it was very frustrating and next time we are in the area I would find somewhere else for sure.😒

Almost everything on the menu can be made vegan and it's all delicious! Every time I go, I'm blown away by all the choices because I'm so used to only having 1 or 2 things to choose from at most restaurants. Just make sure to tell your server you're vegan!

Be wary of their vegan cheese - Edit
I came here specifically for the vegan options, and was served regular cheese and sour cream with my tacos (even though they apparently have vegan cheese). I would not have known if I hadn't called to ask so if you're vegan, be careful. I also ordered the traditional taco and was served the 'mericanized - a sloppy chick-un, lettuce, and sad diced tomato blend which was on par with taco bell quality. The server did offer to replace the cheese but it was take out and I was no longer in the area. The other taco (the fixie) and the guacamole was ok, although the flour tortilla chips were unexpected so be sure to specify which you'd like.

This is my 6th time coming back and I always find something new and delicious to try! All sauces are made vegan and nearly all dishes can be made vegan. Vegan meat substitutes include: tofu chorizo, black beans and corn, vegan beef, vegan shrimp, and vegan fish.

The taquitos were delicious!!! Would get again. However, the messenger taco with chofu (vegan chorizo) was bitter - too much cilantro and sauce. My boyfriend had the Baja taco which was much better, not soaked - could taste the yummy chofu. However, if I were to return I would just get two orders of the taquitos!

Great food, good service, and lots of vegan options. There is a house made vegan sour cream alternative made with cashews and nooch that was amazing.
Read moreVegan proteins include falafel, seitan, fried tofu, and “chofu” (chorizo tofu). The chofu was incredible and the falafel was as good as any I’ve had (including dedicated middle eastern establishments).
Two tacos and a side was almost more than I could eat, and believe me, I can put away some tacos.
MUST try for vegans/vegetarians when in the Greensboro area. Be prepared to wait a bit at peak lunch/dinner times, but worth the time spent sipping a Crafted margarita in the corner.

The food was great! They had lots of options and the service was amazing. I got the fried tofu and regular tofu in two tacos with a side. Delicious! I tried their vegan queso and it was ah-maz-ing. It comes in this small bowl so at first I was bummed about that but I quickly realized that was more than enough. Me and my mother both got food and our bill was still under $25. Perfect!

Great taco place! Most of the menu can be made vegetarian/vegan and the staff knows which options and combos are best. It's not clear from looking at the menu that meats can be subbed out for vegan options, so be sure to ask your server for guidance. Most of the sauces are vegan by default!
Read moreDon't miss the nachos, they're fantastic and work great with the "chofu" (chorizo style tofu). They make their own in house vegan cheese sauce and vegan proteins, like seitan, fried tofu, chofu, or you could get veggies. The chofu was fantastic, nice crumbly texture and "meaty". The seitan was like fried pork chunks, also very good!
The tacos come two in a plate with a side that you pick and they're absolutely huge! For two people we split the nachos and a taco dish for dinner and were stuffed. They also have an impressive amount of taps with craft beers as well as a variety of bottled options. It does get super busy so be prepared for a bit of a wait for dinner but you can always grab a drink at the bar while you wait.
Highly recommend this spot!

Almost all of the items on the menu can be veganized. Just let your server know. That is over 25 different options! 😍 Our favorite is the Stuffed Avocado with Chofu. The house hot sauce is other worldly terrific!!!
