Read moreI really enjoyed parts of my ful mesdames - the falafels were really flavourful and the chips were really tasty. Unfortunately I found that the actual bean stew part got quite oily the longer I ate it until it was a struggle to finish. It's great that there are three vegan mains options on the menu in a town with not many options. I wish they had even a single vegan dessert/baked good. If I was to return I'd try the falafel wrap instead - although it could have been an off day.

Full Madames is fantastic - Edit
This unassuming cafe on Clonakilty high street serves a range of options (veg & non veg), and vegan options are clearly identified & actually interesting.
Read moreI strongly recommend the Full Madames option if you're hungry - it consists of salad, crispy warm falafel, hummus, hot, crispy chips, and a spectacular bean soup - rich, tangy and fulfilling.
Coffee is great, too!

Hearty and hot Middle Eastern lunch on a cold day - Edit
Nice little place. I got the Ful Medames plate. It was flavourful and filling. Everything was good. The waiter was friendly and the service was excellent.
