Excellent coffee and fresh baked items - Edit
Stopped in to fill my flask for a road trip, and was very impressed with Dark Hall. Their attention to detail and focus on fresh and healthy ingredients creates great results.
Read moreTheir coffee beans are roasted nearby and they offer their own plant milk blend as well as the typical plant milks.
Even their syrups (which normally we would avoid elsewhere because of chemicals and imitation flavors) are made in-house with real plant ingredients, such as dried lavender leaves or vanilla bean paste.
They also serve bakery items made fresh daily.
Juan was friendly, very knowledgeable about the offerings, and generous in sharing about them.
If you’re looking for a full meal, dont miss their sister restaurant next-door, the Coronado.
Enjoy!

Delicious treats & great decor - Edit
I made it a priority to come here after I saw someone leave a negative review for the ACAB sticker! The food and drinks are great. They lean totally into their gimmick, and I think that’s fun! Their pumpkin pie was more spicy than sweet; I liked that but it’s not for everyone. Their Mexican chocolate cake was also spicy - and HUGE; we took half home! We enjoyed everything and got some treats for the next day as well. I loved the stickers in solidarity with Indigenous land battles like Oak Flat & other social justice struggles. It’s a good reminder for everyone that veganism isn’t just a diet - it’s about total liberation, including police abolition. Humans are animals, too! Veganism needs to be antiracist and abolitionist if it is to mean anything at all.

lovely spot for a coffee date - Edit
I love this place! Loved the dark gothic feel, loved the decor, loved how cozy it is.
Read moreStaff was really friendly.
Ordered the Raspberry pistachio galette, maple scone, I tried the sweet potato latte and husband tried the pumpkin chai. Everything we had tasted amazing.
It can get a bit busy for seating, we did some remote work here. There quite a few outlets, good Internet, and lots of seating outside too! Lots of people were ordering cake slices (wish we had tried they looked incredible). Love that there’s a fully vegan place like this.
Pros: lots of options , good quality coffee , great place to do some remote work

I love the Coronado and wanted to try the coffee shop for quite some time. The interior is inviting, dark but hip and fun. Very clean and the staff was friendly. The outside patios were awesome!
Read moreCoffee was different w an odd after taste but I liked it more so to support a vegan shop. The flattened snickerdoodle cookie was alright but tasted on its way out with a bit of staleness and lack of freshness. Unfortunately on my way out, I noticed an “ACAB” sticker…..I will never go bac
Pros: Vegan, Different , Inviting w awesome patios

A Love Letter to Dark Hall - Edit
I only have amazing things to rave about when it comes to Dark Hall Coffee. All the drinks, but especially seasonal selections, are divine. No matter your mood- from a bright brown sugar lemonade to the most jaw dropping pumpkin spice latte this girl has ever had- you’ll find something to match your energy with Dark Hall! The staff is kind, informative, and attentive. The decor, music and ambiance cannot be beat. The beautiful outdoor seating is dog friendly. The food choices are flavorful and plenty! From veganized savory quiches to thick cookies to tarts to cake, they seriously have it all! Whether you’re local to the area or you’re on an adventure for the best of the best when it comes to vegan spots, Dark Hall is an S tier pick!

We stopped in while waiting for a table at The Coronado to have brunch. They were very busy, but you can order a snack to eat while they get to your drink order (I got an Americano). Loved the vibe and will definitely be back if in the area 💚

I’ve been obsessed with this spot from afar, finally visited and did not disappoint! Such beautiful and delicious pastries, unique beverages. I love the aesthetic of this shop, it’s very hip with nice outdoor seating in the front and back. They do not offer drip coffee just espresso drinks FYI.

10/10 Recommend - Edit
Another place that has ruined my life because their coffee and baked goods were SO good. Loved the variety of baked goods that included cookies, cake, scones, and a shortbread cookie which can be harder to find. Their baked goods were different the next day which I really appreciated. I ordered a hazelnut latte and it was seriously the best latte I’ve ever had!

Fresh and delightful - Edit
Oh my word. We got one of not quite everything but definitely a lot of the things and they were all AMAZING. Fresh-baked, light, super yummy. Good coffee. Super nice people. I’m just in awe of the variety of things they turned out instead of the grudging “we got a bagel that might not have milk in it, no vegan toppings” that I’m used to. 😁 My only complaint is that they don’t have this where I live.

Best vegan bakery! - Edit
This bakery never disappoints, I've been here several times now, and everything from the unique and high quality baked goods, to the coffee drinks, to its welcoming atmosphere is all top notch. It can get pricey due to everything being so good here, and I wished it stayed open later but apparently they're experimenting with that. And it's nicely located centrally in Phoenix. Decent amount of parking
