I'm on holiday in Marseille with a friend and was staying in a hotel near the Old Port and came here on a solo mission after finding it on happy cow. The food, drink, service are all very good and the staff are friendly. I recommend the Smokey Bun if it's available.

We had a very good lunch at De Bon’heur. The restaurant is clean, start is friendly and the food tastes and looks great. Lunch consists of a savory dish (sandwich/bun/toast), a sweet dish (dessert) and a drink. €15 per person. Recommended!

Nous venions très souvent chez De Bon'heur. Le couple qui a créé le lieu est parti et malheureusement, ce n'est plus aussi bien.

Les portions sont bien plus petites, plus chères, et de moindre qualité.
Nous avons été choqués par la finesse et petitesse de la tranche de pain du toast.
Cookie avec très peu de chocolat.
Peu de recettes, pas forcément convaincantes, pas de pancakes.
Utilisation de sets de table en papier et de pochettes en papier pour les couverts.
La serveuse (qui travaillait déjà là avant) est toujours aussi efficace, gentille et professionnelle.
Les nouveaux gérants, malheureusement, ne suivaient pas les commandes.
Nous avions pris des formules et attendu longtemps les desserts et café... nous avons dû les demander à un des patrons (la serveuse était en pause). Il n'avait pas l'air de savoir de quoi on parlait.
Alors que c'était le premier jour, on ne nous a pas vraiment demandé de retour.
Bref, faites attention, les photos, menus et avis correspondent à l'ancien restaurant.
De Bon'heur était une merveilleuse adresse sur Marseille.
A voir si tout se rode et s'améliore avec le temps...
Le point positif, c'est que c'est toujours vegan.

The food here is healthy and there's a lot of delicious pastries and drinks. I really loved the brookie, red berries cheesecake and avocado sandwich. Too expensive though, especially the pancakes.

It was a bit of a walk from where we were staying, but so glad we came here. The menu had a wide range of savoury/sweet breakfast and lunch options. We had banana and peanut butter pancakes, along with two lattes with oat milk. Very filling and delicious. There were also plenty of other sweet treats (brownies, cakes, etc.) available at the counter.

we arrived too late for lunch but had a burger and a chocolate cheesecake, both of them incredible, with a tasty golden milk. We also take home a soft and sweet apple-cinammon cake, the woman in the counter was very nice and helpful

I don’t think I ordered the right thing. That said, the pancakes were nice and fluffy and the toast & trio of spreads was nice. We didn’t care for the hot chocolate. They make their own peanut butter in house and it was FANTASTIC. It was a cross between creamy and chunky. Bought a small jar to take with us.

Ordered takeaway, I was excited immediately because 2 vegan restaurants closer to me in Marseille do NOT do takeaway. Food was cooked perfectly and so flavorful. Employees were very nice about my limited French and the little shop in the store is cute too :')

J'avais initialement attribué la note de 4 étoiles à ce restaurant, ayant été un peu gêné par l'accueil qui m'y avait été fait. Y retourner aura été une véritable erreur.
Read moreOn a payé plus de 70e pour trois, durant un brunch, pour se faire littéralement jeté au bout du 45 minutes parce qu'on ne consommait plus et alors même qu'on n'avait pas fini nos assiettes.
Je ne vais pas mentir, c'est bon. Mais ici, on préfère ne pas soutenir les établissement de ce genre. C'est vraiment dommage.

Great service, lovely food. Doesn't accept bookings so if you really want to eat here don't turn up at the last minute. Kitchen closes at 14:30 (2.30pm). Brunch was very copious and delicious for a very reasonable price.

Wir waren um 11:30 an einem Donnerstag da. Es war Recht leer und wir haben ohne Reservierung einen Platz bekommen. Auf der Karte gibt es sehr viele verschiedene Angebote, wir haben das Brunch genommen für 25€ bekommt man eine Hauptspeise und eine süße Hauptspeise, dazu noch eine Granola Bowl, eine Homemade Lemonade o. Ice Tee und ein Heißgetränk. Das reicht locker für zwei Personen. Es war super lecker und auch das Ambiente war sehr gemütlich.

I had the „Sweet Potatoes“ and „Summer Vibes“ (I eat a lot 🙈) and found both dishes really good. Both dishes consist of fresh food, are well combined and the portions are good. When choosing a seat, you should take into account that some of the seats inside are very close to each other. This means that you may be closer to strangers than to your companion and private conversations may not be possible. This could probably be avoided by sitting outside or reserving other seats.

We had a sweet potato bowl with fresh salad a creamy sauce, cranberries, chickpeas and figs. A tasty and quite healthy combination at the same time. The sweet potatoes were perfectly baked.
My dessert was the gluten free (!) cake of the day - with chocolate chips, vanilla flavour and a syrup. One of the best vegan gluten free cakes I have eaten in 10years - really nice consistency, not dry but soft and sweet 🤤
The Yuzu flavoured Matcha was without sugar but jasmine syrup was available.
Next time in Marseille we won’t miss De Bonheur! 💚🍠🥗🌱

I can recommend the pancakes with peanut butter, jelly and fresh fruit. It was delicious, but it could have been a larger serving. The morroco milkshake and Chai were great.

Also the banana peanut butter smoothie was great!
Also bought some lunch dishes for take away, which were also good!
The cakes were a bit dry-ish, but tastes alright.
