There cinnamon rolls are not the best, but I buy there Swedish, raisin and chocolate koeken in large amounts to freeze and have my vegan koffiekoeken whenever I want.

Korte keten en duurzaamheid vinden we inderdaad belangrijk! Momenteel is het (jammer genoeg) nog geen eigen graan dat we gebruiken, maar wel gekweekt in Leuven en omstreken!

My go to bakery as a local - Edit
Wide variety of sourdough bread and lots of authentic pastries. I like that they also work package-free, bring your own container or bag if you can! Lovely staff and cute venue. Highly recommend!

This is a full vegan bakery offering lots of delicious pastries and bread. I highly recommend their cinnamon roll, it is amazing! The staff is also very friendly! Looking forward to going back and getting more pastries and bread as well!

Delicious vegan pastry + best bread - Edit
I find the Broodenier’s bread the best bread in Leuven; next to that they also make addictive croissants and pain au chocolat (chocoladebroodjes) and other pastries including cinnamon rolls and cookies.

'Boterkoeken' were sold out unfortunately.
Would love to see they expand their offer (currently only a handful of options) and have more variety to choose from!

Great abilty to order online and pick up!
The taste of the 'koffiekoeken' is great, I had the same feeling, as I used to have, when I ate the non-vegan 'koffiekoeken'.
These products are really a good transition for more cruelty free products and showing that there is nothing you have to give up on when you go vegan.
I've a dream that one day, their proposal will be the standard in the Belgium bakeries.
A must try, mainly to experience what they can make as vegan alternatives.

My new favorite bakery - Edit
They may have just opened but are already super busy! That's because their food is that good! I got 1 of almost all their pastries and ALL of them were spot on! I also got their nut bread. Normally i toast almost every bread to make it taste better but this bread is amazing just as it is. All their breads are sourdough which i love and seriously miss from when i lived in San Francisco.
