Very large supermarket and clear vegan markings - Edit
I was pleasantly surprised by this huge organic shop in the center of Hannover. Vegan products are marked with a darkgreen V on the shelves. They have some low-waste products as well!

Big organic store with many vegan products - Edit
I loved stroling around in denn's biomarkt, where I discovered some new vegan products around every corner.
Read moreThe range is quite diverse and includes many vegan cheeses, drinks, spreads, ... that are all clearly indicated with a label.
The offer in the cafe on the other hand was quite limited during the afternoon. We enjoyed an energy ball from dried fruits with a tea.

Good for lunch! - Edit
I really enjoy being there for lunch. I really recommend the salads. They usally have a potatoe, pasta, Tofu and lentil salad (costs 4€). Plesse ASK if vegan, sometimes they change the recipe. Its a big portion and is always served with a green side salad.
Read moreSoups are also tasty but a bit More expensive (5€). Soups are always declared in the menue and served with a Alice of bread.
Pros: Good, organic and healthy food, Menue changes every week , Relaxed staff
Cons: Sometimes a bit croweded

Organic market with many vegan products - Edit
My favourite Organic market in Hannover, easily reachable at underground station "Stadthalle/Landtag". Have a good selection of Tofu, Yofu, Vegan Falafel, sausages, burgers etc. and sandwich spreads like 'Tartex' or "Zwergenwiese". You should not mind that they also have meat, fish and dairy products that you have to pass by to get to the good stuff. Very limited choice of Vegan chocolate and other sweets, but good choice of organic fruit and vegetables (at a price, of course). Also a lot of organic fruit juices are on offer. The shop also contains a bakery offering wholegrain products. It offers an affinity card (Payback) and you can pay with credit cards. Opening hours: Mo-Sat 8.30-20.00.
Read morePros: wide selection of vegan products, Good quality, credit cards allowed
Cons: a bit pricy, closes at 20:00
