Great selection, but overrated - Edit
We tried two of their cakes - a chocolate one and a fruity one - and both were rather dry. I was expecting a lot more considering the glowing reviews. Perhaps if we had gotten the Snickers one, which everyone seems to love, it would have been better. A great selection of vegan items though!

This small traditional bakery store has several vegan options that changes seasonally. I visited them several times so far and I liked a lot their strawberry cake. Really recommendable. Plus, they open on Sundays too!

I visited this bakery in 2019 and their Vegan Snickers Torte was SO MEMORABLE, that I searched for them today in 2024. DO NOT MISS THIS CAKE!

Der Snickerkuchen war wirklich sehr lecker und einzigartig. Auch die Bedienung war sehr freundlich, hat sich Zeit genommen und beraten. Es gibt einige Auswahl an veganem Gebäck und Kuchen.

This bakery was recommended to me and they really have a good variety of vegan options for Brötchen, cakes and cookies. I was told they also had vegan croissants which unfortunately they didn't but there are still a lot of other things to choose from :-)

Great vegan cakes - Edit
Love that they offer especially vegan cakes, and for Christmas, also vegan „Stollen“. Everything I had so far was great 👍 It doesn’t look like much from the outside, but trust me: go in there and keep your fingers crossed they have the Snickers tarte!

Surprise find that I hadn’t known about in my time living here, but was told about when visiting. And they have been in business for decades! Anyway, I only expected the kreppel (donuts without holes), but they had several things! Not necessarily the same stuff everyday, like this wonderful rainbow cake, but a steady selection. And the vendor was so nice, even when I came in right around closing time on my second visit, she was still kind (exeptional - especially if you you’re familiar with the city’s impatience etc).

Delicious vegan cakes and pastries - Edit
The bakery offers daily one or more vegan cakes. I especially recommend (if offered) the chocolate cherry cake and the "Donauwelle", a cake with chocolate, cherries and cream. Often on offer is also the very delicious "Kirschbobbes", a pastry with cherries. Most types of bread and rolls are also vegan. As the vegan items are not always clearly labelled you have to ask the staff.

They still have a few vegan pastries on a daily basis; but it's necessary to ask the staff. On the day I visited, they had some kind of apple pie, a cherry tart, and some cookies (no stollen unfortunately).
Read moreThe staff speaks English and seems to be knowledgeable about veganism, so they can also suggest you some german bread to take with you (I personally liked the roggenbrot, 99% rye).
A few tables are available in case you want to have your pastry with a cup of coffee of tea.

This is a small but nice bakery across from a little park. There is minimal indoor and outdoor seating and some bookshelves on the wall. All vegan items are clearly marked "V" and allergens like milk or gluten are listed on all items. Staff was friendly and able to communicate despite the language barrier.

In 2013 we spent almost the complete year in Frankfurt and were very happy to find this small family owned bakery near our apartment. All the bread rolls are vegan and there is a daily offer of two vegan cakes, which we loved. Their vegan christstollen is also very nice.
