Cute little coffee shop located in the Waterstones bookshop. It’s worth the visit alone just to wander around Waterstones, this location is very unique compared to the other ones and I really liked it. It almost felt like a library instead of a bookstore. the flat white was OK. There was only a vegan brownie during my visit but I was there at the end of the day.

Great for a sweet treat - Edit
The range of well-marked vegan bakes here exceeded my expectations. I enjoyed the caramelised-edged maple pecan tart and an oat hot chocolate. I appreciated that oat and soya milk were at no extra charge as unfortunately this isn't universal yet.
Read moreThe friendly and hard-working baristas quickly serve a constant queue in this student heartland. You have a good chance of getting a seat in the large, leafy bookshop seating area.
Perplexingly their default seems to be serving disposable cups to sit in but they have nice crockery so do ask for it.
There's a loo in the bookshop basement.
Pros: Good value, Late opening, Good service
Cons: Limited vegan savoury options, Tables not cleared and wiped during busy times
