Lots of vegan pastries - Edit
Very small bakery but with lots of vegan options. Only the pies were labeled as vegan, but after asking most of the viennoiseries were also plant-based. My personal guilty pleasure is always going to the famous French ‘pain au chocolat’. The size of it was huge and taste was it was delicious and not greasy. Also don’t be afraid to get you hands dirty … because of the nice chocolat drizzle on the top 😏🥐

I love that most of the (sweet) baked goods at this bakery are vegan. This should be standard and not the other way around!
Read moreI taste tested a few things here: Dampfnudeln, a traditional steamed yeast dumpling, Brezel, chocolate croissant and cinnamon bun.
My favorite would be the last two options.
Although they are preeetty sweet, the dough was very fluffy.
The Dampfnudel on it’s on was a bit plain. Usually you eat them with kind of a vanilla sauce or custard and warm.
I recommend to bring it home and pimp it up instead of eating it plain.
The Brezel unfortunately was a little dry (already). But maybe I just wasn’t lucky at the day/time.

Lots of vegan baked goods! - Edit
Döringer's started making vegan their default a while ago, so lots of their stuff is vegan now. Not just bread and buns: many sweet baked goods like pain au chocolat and stuff with nuts or poppiseeds are vegan as well! It's great to be able to just go to a bakery nearby (they have several outlets across the city) and get something!
