Fabulous - Edit
Genuinely the best cauliflower wings I’ve ever had. The vegan blue cheese was so good, too! I also ordered the vegan soup of the day, which was a potato soup

Proper chipper chips - Edit
I was delighted with the options - the cauliflower wings looked great and I’m going to get them next time, but the vegan burger and chips I ordered were so so good. Really satisfying and the chips were perfectly cooked.
Read moreI was at Siege of Limerick hosted here so it was really busy, but because of the very well labelled menu and how clear and friendly the staff were I never had any doubt that I would get the correct order, or that they understood what vegan meant.
Pros: Multiple vegan options, Clear labelling, Super satisfying, proper pub food

Large portions - Edit
I was in town for the evening with some colleagues and I'm the only vegan so it was my job to find a spot we could all enjoy and this pub was perfection.
Read moreIn the evening they have live music and even comedy shows. There is a traditional pub area where you can eat and drink, upstairs is a rooftop bar where they offer just drinks, and in the back is a stage for concerts and comedy.
The pub has traditional Irish food for your non-vegan friends, and the food that is vegan was incredible. There are clearly labeled vegan items and good descriptions so you know exactly what is in the food and I really appreciate that so much.
I really enjoyed the vegan Tian and it was such a large portion I had trouble finishing it. I also started with the cauliflower wings and I thought they were delightful. That was way too much food, but I would much rather walk away stuffed than feel like I didn't get enough food.
I do recommend making a reservation, but I was able to get a table for a short time with no reservation. Eventually the table was going to be used by the musicians to play traditional Irish music from 9pm to midnight.
The place has a large amount of local and imported beer on tap as well as a large selection of whiskey and other liquor.
I highly recommend this place for meeting up with friends or coworkers or even a date night would work.
