What’s In A Name? - Edit
Initially, given its rather carnivorous appellation, I was dissuaded from even exploring this venue, as I was convinced that its vegan credentials would be woeful, at best. Yet, morbid curiosity got the better of me, and, to my genuine surprise, I discovered that not only were there plant-based options, but also that they were plentiful.
Read moreOne aspect of this establishment that wasn’t a shock, though, was the tasteful way in which it was put together. As one might expect from a high-end location such as this, the decor was on point, the atmosphere was serene, and the staff was beyond reproach—an almost perfect setting in which to savour a satisfying meal.
As luck would have it, that's just what the spread on offer provided. Boasting real quality throughout all that was on offer, it was a difficult task to recommend one dish over another—though not impossible.
There was one section that truly excelled: the chefs' station. Producing fresh, made-to-order items of the highest standard, it’s fair to say that I kept them rather busy in the small hours of the morning, and though the uttappam and aloo paratha were excellent, it was the dosa that really impressed—simply the best I’ve ever had.
With no gripes of which to speak, this was an overall rather pleasant experience, one that I would be happy to repeat anytime.
