Tasty vegan Japanese food - Edit
I love that this place has a separate vegan menu. It was very tasty. I especially enjoyed my first time trying plum wine, so delicious. The staff was friendly, the decor was cute, prices reasonable especially for Temple Bar. Would definitely recommend and return!

Amazing food - Edit
I went here with my family (2 non vegans and 1 other vegan) and the food was insanely good. They have a whole vegan menu which I very much appreciated. I ordered the tofu steak and it was out of this world. It came out on a hot plate which was super cool. Great atmosphere, great service and amazing food.

Delicious food - Edit
We chose Edamame, Miso Soup, Sushi and some fried rice. Everything was very tasty. Staff was kind. The place has a great atmosphere and prices are just right (though a little higher than on some pictures you find here on HappyCow 😛). Would definitely go there again. :)

Delicious - Edit
I ordered the vegetable tempura and Chahan, I received a vegetable miso soup to begin with, which I believe should have been with the main (Chahan) but it came before the starter, I wasn't sure about that it didn't have a lot of taste but the Tempura and Chahan were absolutely delicious. I would definitely go back.

Vegan Sushi Platter with lots of avocado - Edit
Service was very friendly, that’s it. The vegan sushi platter was created without any fantasy and came with nearly all pieces with avocado only, nothing special. I think therefore it was too expensive with 21,90 Euro. I hope there are better places for eating vegan sushi in Dublin. Won’t go there again.

Excellent - Edit
It was great to have a dedicated vegan menu and I enjoyed my chahan. This is a nice spot with very pleasant staff, good decor and an authentic feel. I also liked that they had reusable chopsticks rather than disposable. Even though service was quick we were able to sit and relax over our meal.

Really tasty food! - Edit
For starters I got Inari fried tofu, and for the mains I got Yasai chahan and a glass of coca cola.
Read moreThe miso soup was served first and was a great starter, full of flavour.
The Inari fried tofu was nice but I preferred the futomaki sushi that GnomeChild got.
The main was the star of the show for me though, it didn't have an overly strong taste but it was seasoned perfectly.
My one complaint was that when I ordered from the vegan menu (I pointed out the main I wanted In case I butchered the name of it) I was asked whether I wanted egg in it..I know the non vegan menu version has egg, but seeing as I was ordering from the vegan menu I thought it was obvious I would not want an egg. It was a pity because other than that I would highly recommend the place.

Highly recommended - Edit
I ordered the 4 piece vegetarian futomaki and the tofu steak. I also tasted some of Purp's Inari-fried tofu and yasai chahan. We were also given Miso soup.
Read moreThe Miso soup was delicious. Very flavourful without being too salty. It had a few tiny pieces of tofu and some seaweed in it.
The futomaki was nice. It was just basic sushi so if you like sushi then you'll probably like this.
The Inari-fried tofu was delicious. Again, if you usually enjoy inari sushi then you'll probably like this.
The tofu steak was amazing! The tofu was very soft. The sauce was very salty, but there wasn't enough of it that it was overpowering. The portion of rice that came with it was the perfect amount.
The yasai chahan was very tasty. It was bland, but in a good way. It tasted mostly of sesame oil, with a hint of some other seasonings. The tofu and vegetables in it were cooked perfectly. When Purp was ordering it though the waitress asked if they wanted an egg on top of it, so if you're ordering it make sure to specify that you want it to be vegan with no egg if that is your dietary preference.
The vegan menu is at the back of the menu.
You can ask for a fork if you'd prefer to not use chopsticks.
I didn't see a drinks menu so I just ordered Coke but I heard someone else order cranberry juice so they have some juices available. I also saw some people drinking bottles of beer so those are available as well.
You do not get to choose where you sit.
The food is a little expensive, but very filling.
I would definitely be happy to eat here again.
Pros: Delicious food, Friendly staff and fast service, Gorgeous decor
Cons: Expensive, Couldn't choose where to sit, Very few vegan options

Nothing special - Edit
We went here since the vegan/vegetarian options it has, yet it was disappointing.
Read moreProbably our expectations were set high.
Anyway, the food is not bad but not a big deal. We ordered a vegan ramen which did non had such a particular taste, it was just eatable, the noodles seemed the ones you easily find at the supermarket; the vegetarian Yasai yaki soba was better, yet not the flavoury meal you'd expect.
However, the staff was kind and gentle, we were immediately served, and the Bill was in line with the dinner, not too expensive yet not worth the meal.
Eventually, it was ok.

Good sushi - Edit
I got avocado rolls, cucumber rolls, and edamame. Normal sushi nothing that special but nonetheless good. They are doing a 20% discount for orders during the level 5 lockdown so it’s a good place to go to support their business.

Tasty food in a cosy place - Edit
Options weren't wildly innovative, but the sushi rolls were delicious (I had medium avocado sushi roll - yum!). Also, it wasn't on the vegan menu, but the waitress checked and confirmed that the green tea ice cream mochi was also vegan (made with dairy-free ice cream and gluten free too!). I was so happy to be able to eat something green tea flavoured for dessert. It was very reasonable - just around 10 EUR for the sushi rolls, green tea and the mochi. The restaurant itself was really cute and cosy, and the staff were really nice.
