Serves meat, vegan options available. Will accommodate vegan requests. One could get portobello tacos, and eggplant enchiladas. Open Mon-Thu 11:30am-11:00pm, Fri-Sat 11:30am-12:00am, Sun 11:30am-10:00pm.
They will accommodate for vegans by taking out any dairy etc in the burrito taco quesadilla and salad and sub for free with guac. Tasty! If you get the burrito—ask for more veggies and black beans and less rice bc it was rice heavy.
Server told me they had no vegan options despite a separate website listing vegan options… - Edit
I chose El Vez for dinner with non-veg coworkers because they had a link on their website with many vegan options. When I got there, the waitress told me that the only vegan option they had was salad. I told her that the website was very clear that there were several options but she was incredibly rude and told me they weren’t actually vegan (but told me if I was vegetarian they could accommodate that🙄). Needless to say, I couldn’t trust the menu and that, combined with her attitude, resulted in us leaving.
This is what they have posted on their website: https://elreyrestaurant.com/menus/vegan-vegetarian-gluten-free-dinner/
Fajita’s should be easy and not hard to make. They gave us green peppers, onions, a little rice, and a little guac. It was a slimy greasy mess. The glasses were dirty and it was not worth the 25 minutes we waited to be seated.
*We asked for other veggies but they had none.
Very disappointed.

Starr - Edit
This is one of many upscale restaurant of Steven Starr. They will accommodate to vegans. Vegan Beef tacos are one of the options.
