Good spot for a good cause

The cafe is connected to the shop that benefits the local hospice! They told us they only do the full breakfast options on the weekends so we got vegan sausage sandwiches instead. They were good! And the inside is super cute

Pros: Nice atmosphere

Charity shop cafe with lovely salads

Truly lovely cafe attached to the Rowcroft charity shop - Arguably the best salads in the bay!

Really fresh with an excellent variety you can get a salad bowl. The salads are always vegan and there are usually some other vegan options too such as the breakfast or soup, though I can’t resist their salad bowls every time! Lovely selection of cakes which include some good vegan options (marked with a v). Breakfasts are great with potato rather than hash brown and vine tomatoes and avocado on the veg fry up - very yummy.

The cafe is well decorated and feels fresh.

Add on the fact that this the proceeds are going to the brilliant Rowcroft charity and lovely volunteers are helping run the cafe smoothly, it’s a winning place to visit in a Torbay.

It’s about a 5 minute walk to the beach from the cafe.

Wheelchair accessibility - small lip over door entrance. Accessible toilet in the charity shop.

There is also an Ella’s in Chelston and Churston.

Pros: Salads are all vegan - good salad bowls, Proceeds go to Rowcroft Hospice charity , Usually a good few options of vegan cake too

Cons: Not much vegan choice to go with the salad
